137: Moving to Cali, finding a new career and finding love: An interview with Intro to Intentional Living student Brenna

Hi everybody! Thinking about taking my Introduction to Intentional Living course, which is open for enrollment now and starts in January? Then you'll want to listen to this month's series of interviews, where I'm in conversation with past Intentional Living students to discuss how the course impacted their lives!

Today I interview past student Brenna, who took IIL in spring of 2020. Since the course (which she took because she was at a crossroads after loss and divorce) she's moved to California, made best friends, started dating her emotionally available partner, is making plans to move in with him, and has brought a general feeling of lightness and invigoration to her life. Tune in to listen to how she did it through the IIL tools and experience. You can find Brenna's writing and more @kissmeontulips

Love this Podcast!

I love this podcast because I often think self-help type podcasts look at things from a really high up hard to apply/understand in a real way kind of perspective, but Catherine’s podcast is different. She first takes the time to explain the concept, uses helpful metaphors that make it easy to remember, but then she also gives incredibly helpful, real life examples of how we might see something play out or attempt the work she is discussing. It’s not only helpful but a real encouragement to listen to.

Great podcast!

I love this podcast and look forward to it, and find a lot of very helpful wisdom from Catherine. As a sensitive listener and editor, though, please consider not saying “quote-unquote” so often when you’re not actually quoting anyone.

changed my mind about coaches and coaching

I had NO idea coaches and coaching could be like this. I though coaching was just that one guy making Oprah walk on hot coals and being obnoxiously cheerful. Finding Catherine's newsletter and podcast has opened up a whole new world for me to explore. I'm really enjoying it!
