Not easy to laugh nowadays but these to make it doable

I heard Andrew Sullivan say that maybe he enjoys this wonderful podcast so much because he knows them both personally.
Unfortunately ranking Robert Wright’s book Why Buddhism Is True as my second favorite book of all time does not mean I know them. But I still love this podcast and look forward to Fridays.

Don’t look for insight from anyone but guests

There are some good interviewees here, so listen to them. The host is (usually)
If you want to hear brainless analysis of Clinton’s fraudulent welfare “reform” then you’ll love it. A program that puts some poor people in the United in some bad jobs that disappear with economic busts, plus time limits on healthcare and lifetime benefits along with case manager-management by people who buy all stereotypes of people without money, is not successful. Great dynamic b/w wright and mickey

These two together are as good as Swisher and Galloway—but less stressful to listen to. Less caffeinated, but equally smart and informative. Wright makes me laugh so much. I listen every Saturday and it’s like hanging out with smart, funny friends.
