The Hat Cody Lambert Shamed Austin Dillon into Never Wearing Again

This week, Austin Dillon joins This Cowboy Life as the show's very first guest — and he did not come empty-handed on stories. Jerome and Tiffany Davis find out how Austin became GM of the Carolina Cowboys, Jerome and Austin share stories about phone calls with Richard Childress during the first year of PBR Teams, and there's a wild story behind a college barn party that somehow only let girls through the door. Plus, the flat-brimmed hat disaster that got Austin shamed by Cody Lambert at his very first draft. Austin also opens up about the safety innovations he's trying to bring over from NASCAR — including a roll-bar foam idea for the bucking chutes and an airbag vest concept borrowed straight from MotoGP — plus the behind-the-scenes psychological tests from training camp that pushed the team's bull riders to their breaking point (you have to hear what happened with the puzzle). And of course, Mail from the Dirt brings a real debate about how judges should actually be scoring these rides, and we preview Cowboy Days! Big episode, big guest, and a big weekend ahead in Greensboro. What Happens When Cowboys Get Left Alone With a Shark?!

Jerome and Tiffany Davis — the western world's royal couple — are back for another episode of This Cowboy Life! After a weekend in Nashville, they recap the Carolina Cowboys’ nail-biting matchup against the home team, Keyshawn Whitehorse coming through when the team needed him most, tough bull draws, and the unexpected lineup changes that unfolded behind the scenes. They also break down a scary moment when Jess had to step away mid-event for his wife, Macy, and how Derek Kolbaba stepped up on short notice to help save the day. Then, it’s time for some unforgettable Nashville stories, including celebrity run-ins with Taylor Lewan, Michael Chandler, Chris Lane, and even Kid Rock, plus the wild story of how Bernie Taupin, yes, Elton John’s legendary songwriter, ended up helping save the PBR. And, of course, they revisit the legendary tale of what happens when you leave a group of cowboys alone with a mounted hammerhead shark and a swimming pool. Jerome and Tiffany also look ahead to Austin and three straight home-team events, talk about the Cowboys moving up to third in the standings, give a shoutout to Steiner Steakhouse, and answer more fan questions in Mail from the Dirt. We Lost a Bull Overnight in Florida...

Jerome and Tiffany recap a jam-packed stretch that took them from Wild West Wednesday straight into the Carolina Cowboys’ PBR Teams event in Florida. Wild West Wednesday brought a crew of cowboys from Sweden and Finland ready to take on Team USA in the dizzy bat race, front flips and all. Jerome also shares the story of hauling bulls out of Florida, including a runaway named Tijuana Joe and the legendary Swamp Monster, whose escape attempt had the whole crew holding their breath. They also look back on the Carolina Cowboys’ 2-1 weekend in Florida, including a shaky start after losing Jess Lockwood to illness, a gutsy re-ride from Guilherme, and a hard-fought win over the home team on their own turf. Jerome breaks down the PBR Teams standings heading into Nashville, where the Cowboys currently sit in 4th place. Plus, Jerome and Tiffany pay tribute to Ridin' Solo, a bull who became part of the sport’s family over the years and passed away at age 10. They also break down how bull rider contracts actually work and why team pay has been a game-changer for riders who once struggled to make ends meet week to week. From runaway bulls to Nashville stakes, this episode of This Cowboy Life has plenty to unpack. And the turkey debate rolls on. This time, it’s a naming contest, with suggestions ranging from Tiffany’s Diamond to Goober the Gobbler to Mo. Drop your pick in the comments and help us settle it! Tiffany Called Her Sister to Pick Up Luke Perry from the Airport. She Hung Up.

Welcome back to This Cowboy Life with Jerome and Tiffany Davis for episode five, and the turkey debate is officially over — for now. The votes are in at 74 to 17, and the taxidermy turkey nobody agreed on last episode is staying put. The only thing left to decide? The name! Please comment your suggestions below. Jerome and Tiffany recap a big weekend at the PBR Heroes and Legends Awards in Oklahoma City, including the moment Charmayne James became the first woman ever to win the Ty Murray Top Hand Award, and the full legendary story behind Scamper, her barrel racing horse. They also talk about Elsie Frost receiving the Sharon Shoulders Award on the exact anniversary of her son Lane's passing. Jerome tells the story of his time as a stunt rider in the film 8 Seconds, including the $500 bonus check he earned when his ride on the bull "Playboy" made it into the final cut. Then there's Luke Perry. Jerome and Tiffany share the story of Tiffany's sister getting sent to pick him up from the Charlotte airport, and hanging up twice because she was convinced the whole thing was a prank. Plus, a breakdown of the Carolina Cowboys' 2-1 weekend in Oklahoma, including a judging technicality on a re-ride call that Jerome believes cost them a win, and a look ahead at roster changes with Derek Kolbaba returning from shoulder surgery and Ezekiel Mitchell stepping in for an injured Trey Kimzey as the team heads into Florida this weekend. Jerome and Tiffany Got Invited to a Hollywood Premiere. Their Truck Almost Ruined It

Welcome back to another episode of This Cowboy Life with Jerome and Tiffany Davis, and this one starts with a fight already in progress — over a stuffed turkey. Jerome just got a taxidermy mount back, and Tiffany is not a fan. You'll have to weigh in yourselves on whether it stays or goes. Once they get past the turkey debate, Jerome breaks down the big PBR weekend ahead in Oklahoma City, including bringing Clay Guiton back into the lineup after a long time out and explaining exactly why "Lt. Dan" is not happening for him this season.  Tiffany also finally convinced Jerome to go to a movie theater together for the first time in over a decade, which somehow leads into the full story of working on the set of "The Longest Ride" with Nicholas Sparks and Scott Eastwood, including the time Tiffany misunderstood one word on set and ruined an entire take, and the Hollywood premiere night that nearly went sideways when their truck wouldn't start in front of everyone in the parking lot. Plus, a story about two bulls getting into it right next to Jerome's buggy that could've ended a lot worse than it did, what it actually takes to get bulls health-cleared to travel state to state, and fan questions in "Mail from the Dirt," including one about whether bull riders wear any protection where they probably should.
