i have loved this show for years, especially for the interesting perspectives offered by the hosts and guests. bitesize episodes of factual history, what’s not to love?
I love the show and would give 5 stars, but these “Bonus” episodes keep auto downloading

Recently there have been 2 bonus episodes that I keep deleting but comes back every week and auto download. Because there is no date on them it treats them as a new episode. One is about Oprah that I don’t care to listen to so have marked as played at least 3 times this month. The other is a “guru” that I also don’t want to listen to so have done the same. I assume it is an Apple Podcast issue that has not been fixed.

I love how this show gets deep in the weeds of the esoteric, but also manages to zoom out & show where it fits in the broader context of things. & how I never know if “This Day” will lean into the serious or the ludicrous, or both. During these scary, uncertain, & absurd times it’s comforting to realize how scary, uncertain, & absurd America has always been.
