A professional, well-polished podcast. Doug is clearly in tune with the books. Absolutely loved the deep dive and insights to Veith’s process, the story and character development.

Every interview is different, because each author has a different story to tell. I love how host Doug Doda dives into the story behind the story, and how he guides authors to share so that listeners get more insight into the author’s work. It feels so personal, and I learn something new from each conversation.

Doug Dorda impressed the heck out of me with his intelligence, curiosity, and passion for all things books! That, plus his wall-sized map of Tolkien's Middle Earth :) If you love great books, and the craft behind creating them, you will love this program.

Really enjoyed listening to this discussion! Wonderful interview with information about the process and experience of writing a book. I learned enough of what “Orphanland” is about ( without spoilers) that I cannot wait to read it. Looking forward to building my reading list with help from this podcast !
