    Kingpin - Ep, 26

    At first sight, you might think that Chris and Lee are re-casting Klingon but in fact, this week they decided to re-cast Kingpin. It's a comedy from the Farelly brothers and stars Randy Quaid and Woody Harrelsen. Not William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy. Or Worf. So... Keep reading this, if you dare.  Do you want to make money? We all do. You might think to yourself, 'How do you do it?' I don't know. But if you send us cash I will then reveal 'The Secret' PRO TIP: Enter contests that offer free cash prizes  Like a bowling contest. Which is what happens in this filmed movie. What a coincidence! Bob Lazar does not believe in cooincidences. Or maybe he does. I don't know, I've never met him.  Back to the dangerous world of talking on podcasts that tackle the risky and controversial topic of recasting comedy movies. But I don't feel like talking about that. What have YOU  done lately? Perhaps  try to build something with Legos that expresses your feelings. Or, invite some friends over and have a competition wherein the winner is the person who can make the best pirate hat out of paper. Or throw around some axes. Or try pickleball. Or maybe spin art.     Bull Durham - Ep. 25

    Welcome! Not only to World of Total Casting Recall, but welcome to the world of Podcasts! But not only to that World but welcome also to the World of Sound! Not only that, Welcome to the World! And, Welcome to Earth! Unless you are an Earthling. Then, good to see you, fellow human. Whew, now that that is out of the way.... You've heard of Bull. You've probably heard of Durham.  This movie brings these two words and worlds together. Bull Durham is a movie made by mostly by humanoids for humanoids. IT'S GOT EVERYTHING: Minor league baseball players with odd beliefs/rituals/fetishes and a philosopher/sex therapist/with a strange southern accent and watch for the special Easter Egg: the character from Waterworld/Field 'o' Dreams. Both films equally funny comedies in their own right. Hint: it;s Kevin Costner. Also. look for Susan Serandon plus Tim Robbins.     48 Hours -Ep. 24

    Well, It's finally happened! You're now reading the stuff written specifically for this episode of Total Casting Recall. Congratulations! While you are congratulating yourself on this fine achievement, why not listen to this week's episode? Lee and Chris crack open another comedy movie from the past:  48 Hours. Not only is a math problem, it's a movie starring: Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte, meaning they do some acting in the film.  Not only that- Chris and Lee are up to it again with their shenanigans and tomfoolery and they up and re-cast the heck out of this one! Because they, not you, demanded it. So... Listen up and listen out and listen real good. You're very existence may lie/lay in the balance! Or maybe it won't!     Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Ep.23

    PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FOR YOUR OWN LISTENING SAFETY: Lee and Chris utilize shock and awe techniques along with bass, midrange and treble mixed with tweeters and woofers and electricity and other miracles of science and seance to bring you a podcast about re-casting. No extra ingredients are needed from you, the listener, in order to enjoy all the talking that goes on. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels stars Steve Martin and Michael Caine. They did such a good job: so why not replace them? Plenty of reasons we will ignore in this podcast. YOU cant count on it!   WE won't stop there.     Goonies-Ep.22

    This week - Lee and Chris do the unthinkable. They do another podcast episode wherein they perform the death/birth defying art of re-casting another iconic film, called Goonies.  The setting is Earth and child actors take center stage on the screen. No one really knows where it all began and where it all will end. But I digress. The Goonies cast mostly grew up and became adult actors and no one was the wiser. Spoiler alert: there may not be a spoiler alert. You be the judge. Also, look out for the easter egg, Josh Brolin. He appears in the film. So if you're ready ... and even if you're not sit down or stand up and listen in on this weeks episode. But...  Be prepared to have your ears blown wide open with concepts that Chris and Lee will dazzle you with. Or it could be just more nonsense like last week. You may or may not be surprised.     There's 'Something About Mary - Ep.-21

    This episode Lee and Chris continue their upstoppable crusade of recasting movies. You can't stop them. You could, but why bother? There's Something About Mary is the movie they recast this time. FYI:it's a classic Farrelly Brothers film. In it, the characters all learn something about Mary. Starring Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller. Chris Elliott and other fine actors -who incidentally wanted to join us on this podcast but we refused to allow them to come on, of course. How would that look?  Awkward!  So listen up! and you don't have to worry about Hollywood bigshots taking over the mike. Hugs and Kisses, THE TCR ROBOTS

    Bad Santa -Ep. 20

    Merry Christmas or Xmas; if that's how you choose to see yourself. Those fine people down at TCR have done it again! -as we have so many times before... Especially with the talking. If you've been looking for an inciteful, thought-provoking podcast about cinema; especially from the United States- Well...keep looking! Because: THE TOTAL CASTING RECALL GUARANTEE: Here, you will find un-informed and semi-non-collegiate views, coupled with heavily opinionated bias, combined with a goody two shoes approach, delivered to you (the listener). It's a 100% grade-A nonsense about comedy movies. Sure, you could listen to other extremely popular podcasts out there with super famous people of the Hollywood Industry with big shot actors and stuff. But remember, we will give you mostly non-resarched information - sometimes make 'em ups (improv) and whoop-de-doo's. You won't find THAT anywhere else. If you do. Please let us know.  Oh yeah. This week's installment is BAD SANTA which stars Billy Bob Thornton, John Ritter, Bernie Mac and many others. Plot: it takes place in the U.S. around Christmas time. (Un-Spoiler Alert.)     National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation -Ep.- 19

    Hey TCR Folks! it's that time of year again! You know what I mean, lots of stuff on sale! Thinking about Goodwill ... Salvation Army, etc.   Of course! But also it's about being kind etc.... and the actual reason for the season. Yes! It's time to remember that it's time of year to watch your Christmas Movie favorites! National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a great place to start. Not only is a very long title, it's an American classic and yuletide favorite.  Happy go lucky Chevy Chase finds himself in another predicament, and it's still his family. Plus Randy Quaid and lots of other funny folks have their moment. Currently, you cam find it back in the theaters around the U.S.A.  BUT before you do, listen to this first. Spoiler alert: there's no spoiler alert. So listen without any fear of spoilage as Lee and Chris break this down so the listener can understand and enjoy this movie more fully.
