Start there first — it's right before this one in your feed. You need that one first. Every kid on Staten Island grew up hearing about Cropsey — a disfigured man living in the tunnels under Willowbrook, who comes out at night to take children. Most people, rightly so, would just think this was a story. It wasn't.In Part 2, we get into what happened exactly and how this Cropsey horror story ended up being incredibly real for some people. ▓▒░ Did he stage his own disappearance?

Grab a coffee, or whatever your favorite true-crime drink might be, and let’s get into the details of Bryce Laspisa. I’ve been digging into the details…let’s listen. 📂 SUPPORT THE RESEARCH & UNLOCK MORE: Join the Coffee Tier for Early Access or the Beer Tier for Exclusive Extras. https://TrueCrime.fm/support On August 30, 2013, 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa’s SUV was found overturned in a ravine at Castaic Lake. The image that the public was given was that of a gifted artist, and a nearly "perfect kid" who would talk to his parents about anything. The scene though, and how Bryce got there? A totally different picture. The rear window was kicked from the inside out, dogs followed a scent track where it disappeared and to date, Bryce has not been found. On purpose? Maybe. ▓▒░ How the system protected a predator.

Grab a coffee, or whatever your favorite true-crime drink might be, and let’s get into the details of Christopher Duntsch (aka Dr. Death). I’ve been digging into the details…let’s listen. 📂 SUPPORT THE RESEARCH & UNLOCK MORE: Join the Coffee Tier for Early Access or the Beer Tier for Exclusive Extras. https://TrueCrime.fm We assume there’s an adult in the room. We assume that when a surgeon walks into an OR, they know what they're doing. We put our lives in their hands. In a two year time span, Duntsch operated on several patients and 90% of them had terrible consequences. Two of them never even made it out of the hospital alive. This wasn't just a mistake, this was a man who had sent his girlfriend a letter saying he was ready to become a "cold blooded killer". And the hospital system? Let him voluntarily resign so that they wouldn't get a stain on their reputation (or be sued) and wouldn't have to report him to the NPDB (think of it like the black book for doctors). So the next time Duntsch stepped into a job at a new hospital? They had no idea the absolute mess he left behind. 0:00 - You Assume You're Safe 03:36 - Lee and the Spinal Canal Screw 07:03 - Barry and Spinal Bone Fragments 13:29 - Jerry The Best (and now paralyzed) Friend 16:45 - Duntsch and the Drug Test 18:56 - Kelly Never Woke Up 24:02 - Duntsch Drug Test Number 2 25:17 - Let's Make a Deal 33:18 - New Hospital, New Patient, A Stroke and Life Support 35:14 - Mary the Runner - Now in a Wheelchair 43:38 - The Report to the Medical Board 47:38 - Jacqueline and Cut Vocal Cords 51:33 - Jeff and the Surgical Sponge "tumor" 56:50 - The Local Press 59:05 - Who is Christopher Duntsch 1:06:03 - Baylor Hit with a Fine (then dismissed secretly) 1:09:35 - Texas' Tort Reform (aka: Let's limit what we pay to patients) 1:12:09 - The DA Investigates and Doctor's Line up to Testify 1:16:10 - Duntsch is Arrested 1:17:38 - The Trial 1:19:53 - Duntsch is Sentenced 🎙️ FIND TRUECRIME.FM HERE TOO: 🔔 YouTube: @TrueCrimeFM 🎧 Podcast: https://TrueCrime.fm 📸 Instagram: instagram.com/TrueCrime.fm 👥 Facebook: facebook.com/TrueCrimeFM #truecrime #truecrimedocumentary #truecrimefm

53 Points of Truth: A Serial Killer's Confession Saved Her

Imagine waking up at 4:30 AM to a mother’s worst nightmare. Your child is gone, an intruder has vanished into the dark, and you are left bleeding on the floor. Now, imagine that instead of hunting for the killer, the police spent the next nine years hunting you. In this episode of Beach House 34, we dive deep into the case of Julie Rea. In 1997, a small-town investigation in Lawrenceville, Illinois, quickly turned into a masterclass in "tunnel vision." Despite passing polygraphs, a complete lack of physical evidence, and even the excavation of her own septic tank finding nothing, the state built a narrative of a "bad mother" that a jury couldn't ignore. But while Julie was behind bars, a true crime author was uncovering a chilling connection to one of America’s most prolific serial killers: Tommy Lynn Sells. The Shoreline Six: The Tragic Case of Reena Virk

On November 14, 1997, 14-year-old Reena Virk went to a party and never came home. What followed was a decade-long legal marathon that forced a family to relive their daughter's final moments over and over again. Hear about how teenagers, mad over an address book, ganged up on a 14 year old and left her beaten and bloody and then how two of those same people took it a step further that caused over 10 years of trials.
