Trump led me to the Dharma

By mistake I hit one star followed by the correct 5-star review. I am one of those people who had to re-evaluate, especially family, friend, church and work relationships.
I’m glad I found this podcast . Great interview.

realism with a little humor

It’s a scary story, but they make it witty and honest. This podcast interviews many who have written about and so gotten to know Trump over the years and actually I am surprised at how candid and down to earth their remarks are. Very much a NYC centric viewpoint. There’s no pulling punches. This is not for those who are fans of Trump. Though there was an episode of a reporter interviewing her mother who intends to vote for him, basically because of one issue, Iran, as he is pretty much the only candidate willing to say he will break the current agreements. It’s relatable for those of us who have relatives who say the same kind of things, dismissing the ugly rhetoric and focusing on whatever it is they want to see in him. Slate will certainly be able to say they called it in the event that we end up with Trump as President or an ongoing political force, and we end up having to go through a lot to get rid of him.

Update September 2020, well we’ve been through the mill! now it is 60 days before Election Day I wish I could listen to Virginia Heffernan a lot more often. There’s no lack of material to discuss and her tone of good humor lightens this difficult and important crossroads.
