Welcome to Trust & Thrive! My name is Tara Mont and I'm a Clinical Psychology graduate student and therapist in training. Through insightful and vulnerable discussions, I hope to inspire my listeners to trust the process of their unique journey and thrive as their most authentic self. I aim to encourage these actions with a conscious, practical, and attainable approach to self-reflection. I often feature individuals from a multitude of professional fields, levels of expertise, and life experiences who generously share their stories and invaluable knowledge to my listeners and me. 219: Shadow Work & Generational Healing - with Kerri Smith-Osei, Trauma Therapist & Professional Clinical Counselor
Kerri Smith-Osei is a Trauma Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor, 3x Certified Master Life Coach and Couples Coach, a Certified Law of Attraction Coach, and a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner.
She has been in the personal development space for 14 years and has been recognized as one of the top 20 life coaches in Los Angeles for the past 8 years. Her mission revolves around dismantling the societal taboos surrounding mental health while fostering avenues for intergenerational healing.
Kerri's approach is holistic, encompassing emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual facets, all geared toward promoting profound healing. She provides therapy, life coaching, couples coaching, energy healing, and personal empowerment mentoring, as well as facilitates wellness workshops for organizations and non-profits of all sizes.
Her clientele predominantly comprises BIPOC individuals, and LGBTQ+ community members, including Allies.

Jordan Dann is a dynamic psychoanalyst, author, teacher, and speaker. Her training as a Gestalt therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Imago Relationship Therapist, as well as her many years coaching and directing actors; has fostered her desire to help people become more connected, self-aware, free, and expressive.

Dr. Terri Bacow is a widely known expert in cognitive behavioral therapy, an evidence-based therapy approach. A Brown and Boston University graduate, she sees clients in her private practice on the Upper West Side.
She is a media contributor and has been featured in Women’s Health and Shape magazines, and Scary Mommy, as well as various blogs and podcasts.
Dr. Bacow supervises trainees in psychology and psychiatry at NYU and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is the author of Goodbye, Anxiety: A Guided Journal for Overcoming Worry.
