    Virtue #2, Justice

    As the Greek philosophers debated what makes an excellent life, one of the 4 main virtues Plato concluded with was Justice. But to be truly just, one must be wise, courageous and temperant because only then when emotion and bias was removed and the other virtues embraced could a person truly understand and apply justice.

    Ancient philosophers differ from modern philosophers in that they searched out answers to live a virtuous life, not just acquire head knowledge. Virtue meant living a life of moral excellence that added value to this world. We can do that by transferring head knowledge into heart knowledge...if we choose to.
