Ostensibly about comic books and graphic novels, "Wait, What?" is a podcast in which two friends swap stories, theories, and jokes about all aspects of pop culture...but especially comics.
For our early episodes, our theme music is Track 18 from Nine Inch Nails' wonderful ambient album Ghosts, which Trent Reznor graciously made available under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license.
But for some time now, it has been an original composition by our very own Graeme McMillan: this update is overdue!

Lovely middle aged couple chat mostly about comics.

One of them hates Alan Moore, the other has a fairer assessment. Both of them have broad and varied tastes. I’ve definitely followed them and picked up good comics over the years. There’s something for most kinds of everyone and it is one of only two great Podcasts on comics.

If this podcast had a trailer, you’d basically see a long montage of two men laughing gleefully, flirting with each other in a BBC period piece adaptation style (blah blah male cocky tone and smugness followed by oh dear blah blah pithy English insult dressed like charisma) and basically acting out a very long and unconsummated engagement. This is In the Mood for Love meets Ewan Dworkin.

Will they or won’t they perhaps steal as much as a kiss? Will the wallpaper be made of comic covers as the stars blink entranced?

The podcast is as much about the business of those who makes comics, comics themselves as it is of two men who read them and their enduring lovely friendship.

How about a crossover rap (?) battle with Silence! (The other only great podcast). As Jeff from this podcast said once, ‘they fight in a Stan lee kind of way. Where whoever lost could almost have beaten the winner but really everybody one! That kind of battle.
