Khasoha Samita

Wajibiqa is a collection of interesting thoughts around society & culture, by a curious being called Khasoha Samita. The idea is to express thoughts that will have undertones of, but will not be limited to, justice, uncertainty, mental health, art, religion, advocacy, philosophy, & gender, in the context of safety & responsibility. The word “Wajibiqa” is coined from a Swahili word “kuwajibika” which means, “to take responsibility”. So, Khasoha Samita is interested in exploring the vast spectrum of what kuwajibika would look like in this modern day & age. Pull a seat, and welcome to the table.

    Art is a powerful instrument for social transformation. Art is a gift that CAN bring healing to the individual with the gift, and to society as a whole. And if as a society we take time to listen, see, hear & savour art, most times it will tell us a lot about ourselves, as a people.
