Stop Letting Small Things Limit Your Life

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason. Today we’re in Hebrews 5:13-14, and the message is all about growing up spiritually, learning the difference between right and wrong, and refusing to stay stuck in old patterns that keep you from God’s best. This episode reminds us that maturity matters. It is easy in today’s world for people to blur the lines between good and evil, truth and opinion, and what helps your life versus what limits it. But God’s Word is our anchor. It does not change with culture, emotions, trends, or popular opinion. It gives us the wisdom to know what leads to peace, strength, healthy relationships, and real success. Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how many of the struggles people live with are not just random issues. They are often immature patterns, old mindsets, or habits that have never been challenged and overcome. Fear, judgment, selfishness, sexual immorality, intoxication, anger, and compromise all put limits on your life. The enemy wants to blur the lines and make those things seem small, harmless, or normal. But even one lie believed can create a huge mess. Hebrews says mature believers train themselves to distinguish good from evil. That means spiritual growth is intentional. You get God’s Word in you. You let it correct you. You let it mature you. You do not just ask, “Can I do this?” You ask, “Will this help my life? Will this honor God? Will this lead me toward freedom or put limits on me?” This episode is a challenge to stop accepting what is holding you back and start growing into the life God has for you. You are not called to stay immature. You are called to mature, discern, and walk in wisdom. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Finding Peace in a Stressful World

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Isaiah 26:3, where the Bible says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” This episode is all about what to do with stress and how to keep your peace in the middle of real life problems. We live in a world full of opportunities to stress out. Job loss, relationship struggles, parenting pressure, financial uncertainty, and everyday demands all try to pull our peace away. But this scripture reminds us that peace is not reserved for people with no problems. Peace belongs to those who keep their minds fixed on God and choose to trust Him. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how fear often grows in the space of “what might happen.” Stress comes when we let worst-case scenarios become bigger than God’s promises. But when you stop, say no to fear, and remind yourself what God says, your heart begins to settle and peace comes back. You do not have to let fear run your thoughts. You can choose to stay steadfast in God’s goodness, God’s promises, and God’s plan for your life. This episode is a practical reminder that peace is something you keep. You guard it by refusing to let fear lead your mind. Instead of dwelling on what might go wrong, you can stand on the probability of God coming through for you. What to do When You Don't Have Enough

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in 1 Kings 17:12, where we see the widow with just a little flour, a little oil, and what looked like not enough. But this episode is all about one powerful truth: when you put what you have in God’s hands, He can turn a little into more than enough. So many people live feeling like they do not have enough. Not enough peace. Not enough love. Not enough patience. Not enough money. Not enough strength. But the question God keeps asking is the same one we see throughout scripture: what do you have? When the widow gave what she had, God multiplied it. When Jesus fed the 5,000, He first asked what was available. God always starts with what is already in your hand. This episode is a practical encouragement to stop focusing on what you lack and start using what you do have. Maybe all you have today is a little kindness, a little patience, a little peace, or a little energy. Give that. Sow that. Put it in God’s hands. As you use what you have to bless others, encourage others, and serve others, your capacity begins to grow and God fills it again. The principle is simple but life-changing: when you hold on tightly to your little, it stays little. But when you give it to God and let Him use it, He multiplies it. You really can start with what you have today and watch God make it enough. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. The Truth That Leads to Life

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in John 14:6, where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” This is such a powerful reminder because Jesus does not say He is a way. He says He is the way. In a world that constantly pushes us to chase more answers, more control, and more solutions, Jesus gives us the simplest and strongest answer possible: just Jesus. This episode is all about turning back to the true source. People do have real needs. They need healing, provision, peace, direction, and hope. But the message today is that those things are not the source. Jesus is the source of every one of them. When you chase your need, you get anxious. But when you chase Jesus, you find that He leads you into peace, wisdom, and the right path forward. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how this truth shows up all through scripture. The woman with the issue of blood reached for Jesus. The disciples brought the need for food to Jesus. Blind Bartimaeus called out to Jesus. Peter sank when he looked at the storm, but found rescue when he looked back to Jesus. Again and again, the answer was the same: just Jesus. When you make Jesus the main thing, your heart calms down, your thoughts become clearer, and your choices begin to line up with faith instead of fear. That does not mean the need was not real. It means you are no longer letting the need become your god. You are letting Jesus be your source. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Shine Bright in a Dark World

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Matthew 5:14, where Jesus says, “You are the light of the world.” This is such a powerful reminder because Jesus is not telling you to try harder to become the light. He is telling you that because of Him, you already are the light. This episode is all about living in a way that points people back to God. A light is meant to shine. It is meant to be seen. And one of the greatest ways we shine is through simple, everyday acts of kindness, grace, generosity, and encouragement. When you are patient with difficult people, when you speak life, when you work hard with a good attitude, and when you treat people with value, your life begins to stand out. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how being the light is not just about what you say in church. It is about how you live in the world. It is how you treat the server, the coworker, the boss, the stranger, and the person nobody else wants to be around. It is also about giving God glory in the middle of everyday life and being intentional to say, “God is so good,” or “God is working for me,” so people can see that your life is connected to something bigger than yourself. When you know what Jesus has done for you, you begin to live differently. You become freer with kindness, freer with grace, and freer with encouragement. That is what makes your light shine. And that light can open the door for someone else to see who God really is. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. Stop Chasing What Does Not Matter

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason. Today we’re in John 21:3, where Peter says, “I am going fishing.” It sounds simple, but it points to something so important. After all he had seen with Jesus, Peter went back to the old thing. He went back to what was familiar, what was comfortable, and what used to work. But this time, it produced nothing. This episode is a powerful reminder that once God has called you forward, you cannot keep living like your old life is the answer. Peter was no longer called just to catch fish. He was called to feed people, build the church, and walk in a higher purpose. Going backward was never going to satisfy the new calling on his life. The same thing happens to us. Sometimes we go back to old habits, old relationships, old patterns, or old ways of thinking because they feel familiar. But when God has put a new purpose on your life, the old thing will not fulfill you anymore. It may even leave you empty. That is because your real purpose is bigger than just chasing what used to work. This message is all about stopping the chase after things that do not matter and getting focused on what really does. Love people. Encourage people. Feed people. Build people up. That is where real purpose is found. When you stop chasing the old and start chasing what matters to God, your life begins to move in the right direction. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. You Have Everything You Need to Win

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in 2 Peter 1:3, where the Bible says that His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness. This is such a powerful reminder that in God, you already have what you need for a great life. The enemy wants to convince you that you are missing something. If he can make you believe you do not have enough, then he can get you chasing the world for what God has already provided. But scripture reminds us that God has already given us everything we need for peace, joy, wisdom, strength, and a godly life. This episode is all about gratitude, contentment, and learning to stop comparing. There will always be someone who has more, but that is not where joy comes from. A godly life is not built on having the most. It is built on being thankful for what you do have and trusting that God has placed everything you need in His Word and through His presence in your life. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how this truth impacts marriage, parenting, wisdom, and everyday living. When you realize that God has already equipped you, you stop living from lack and start living from peace, purpose, and gratitude. Peace in the Middle of Trouble

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in John 16:33, where Jesus says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart. I have overcome the world.” This is such a powerful reminder that peace is not found in a perfect life. Peace is found in Jesus. So many people are searching for peace in the wrong places. They look for it in a pill, in a bottle, in another relationship, or in the hope that someday life will finally calm down. But Jesus makes it clear that real peace is found in Him. He does not promise a trouble-free life. He promises that in the middle of trouble, we can still have peace because He has already overcome the world. This episode is a reminder that your testimony often comes through how you handle the trial. When people see you go through hard things with faith, peace, and good cheer, it speaks louder than words. It shows your family, your friends, and the people around you that God is real, that He is with you, and that He is still working even in the middle of the storm. You do not need more power. You need to realize the power you already have in Christ. God is with you. You can overcome. You can walk in peace. And you can face today knowing that Jesus has already won.
