    In this episode we talk about the foundations of nourishment. We do a deep dive into fats, carbs, cholesterol and sugars and how our body actually metabolizes them. Kate shares what the microbiome is, the jobs of microbes in our body, and the link between gut health and mental health. We talk about how best to support moms and babies that have had to use forumla, or give birth via c-section. Kate shares about foods that gives us short bursts of energy and the foods we need to eat to give us sustained energy.
