WHAT WENT WRONG

What Went Wrong covers Hollywood’s most notoriously disastrous movie productions, digging into the behind-the-scenes insanity of everything from massive flops to record-breaking blockbusters. In each episode, hosts Lizzie Bassett and Chris Winterbauer dive into a new film to explore the mind-blowing (and sometimes numbing) reasons why making a movie is nearly impossible (especially a good one). Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given to a podcast. Would love to episodes on Lawrence of Arabia and Apocalypto. Thank you!
My favorite podcast.

This is my favorite podcast. Full stop. No joke. The topics are extremely well researched, but the real highlight of the show are the hosts. Lizzie and Chris are lovely, funny people. Their commentary is always insightful — even when discussing movies about which I thought I knew everything. Thank you both for the great work and please don’t ever stop.
Stellar Story Telling

Without doubt the most interesting and original podcast show since RadioLab. Hosts are wonderfully knowledgeable without being self-important. They present clear, concise research notes and an open attitude to corrections from film industry insiders. I found myself deeply engaged with each episode even when the subject was a film, star or executive I don’t know or care about! I feel sincerely grateful to the creators when I encounter this level of quality in a podcast. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this podcast available!
