"Where There Is A Will There's A Way" with Othelia Joy

In this episode, we sit down with Othelia Joy, the founder of "The Glow Report" a digital media company. She shares with us her school experience starting with kindergarten through sixth grade first, to describe her life from being conceived in war-torn Liberia and immigrating as infant with her family to Ghana, West Africa. Seven years later, her and her family immigrated to Elk Grove, California just before the terrorist attacks of 2001. Listen to how she overcame the language barrier as well as navigating through a not so friendly or should we just say, racist Elk Grove during a tense time in America and still be able to complete a bachelors degree.
