    Metabolic Flexibility: How to Train Your Body to Burn Fat Again So You Can Finally Feel Free

    This summer I spent almost a whole month eating my way through Europe–pasta, pretzels, gelato, french fries–all the things I would normally avoid. But when I finally came home, I hadn’t actually gained any weight.  It’s pretty crazy, especially when I realize that five years ago one little cheat meal would leave me three pounds heavier and spiraling with guilt for weeks.  But the difference isn't willpower—it's metabolic flexibility.  And once you understand what that actually means, everything about weight loss starts to make sense.
