    302. When Time Isn’t Fair: Reciprocity, Energy, and the Cost of Live Time

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. Time isn’t always fair, even though most systems treat it as if it were. An hour is often treated like a neutral unit, something interchangeable that can be scheduled anywhere in the day. But in real life, Time is experienced through bodies, energy, context, and life circumstances. Some hours nourish us. Some hours drain us. And some hours carry a much higher energetic cost than we realize. In this episode, I explore why fixed schedules and live commitments can actually create imbalances in reciprocity. Because when something happens at a set time, someone is always engaging during their most resourced hours, while someone else is sacrificing rest, connection, or recovery. This realization eventually led me to redesign my work around asynchronous support, allowing people to engage when their energy and attention are actually available. Inside this episode we talk about: Why an hour is not actually equal to another hour How modern time structures ignore human energy rhythms The hidden energetic cost of live schedules and fixed meeting times Why asynchronous coaching and community restore agency How designing life around energy reciprocity changes everything If you've ever wondered why some commitments feel nourishing while others feel impossibly heavy, this conversation may help you see time in a completely new way. Spring Sanctuary is an eight-week asynchronous women’s circle (March 25—May 15) designed around these principles of energy, reciprocity, and seasonal rhythm. Click here to learn more and join. Mentioned in this episode: Free Workshop: Rewilding Time & Decolonizing From Hustle Culture How we can walk together: Join the next women's circle, Spring Sanctuary, March 25-May 15. 301. How Changing Your Relationship with Time Changes Everything

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. Changing your relationship with Time can change everything about how you live your Life. We feel constantly rushed, overextended, and "behind," even when we're doing everything “right.” We manage calendars, optimize routines, and try to stay responsible for everything that matters to us, yet it never feels like enough. In this episode, I explore what actually begins to shift when you stop relating to Time through urgency and pressure and begin relating to it through alignment. Because when your relationship with Time changes, other things begin to change too. You pause before saying yes.You stop making decisions from urgency. You begin noticing the difference between what is truly yours to carry and what was never yours in the first place. You feel steadier in your own rhythm and less hunted by expectations. You start trusting your own timing again. Inside this conversation, we explore: Why capable women often feel overextended and undernourishedHow urgency quietly shapes our decisions and commitmentsThe difference between living from fear versus living from devotionWhy changing your relationship with time changes your boundaries, energy, and choicesWhat life can begin to look like when you move through Time differently This episode also describes the transformation you'll experience inside the Spring Sanctuary, an eight-week fully asynchronous women’s circle designed to help you rewild your relationship with Time, Energy, and Motivation. 300. Chronos vs Kairos: Rewilding Your Relationship With Time

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. In this episode, we answer the question: What does it actually mean to rewild time? And what does that even look like? To explore this, we look at two ancient Greek understandings of time: chronos and kairos. Chronos is quantitative time. Clock time. Calendar time. Scheduled time. It measures how fast something happens and how efficiently it can be completed. Kairos is qualitative time. It is the right moment, the ripe moment, the moment when conditions align and something becomes possible. Modern systems are built almost entirely around Chronos. Nature moves through Kairos. Rewilding time means learning to notice the quality of time again—both inside us and around us—rather than forcing every moment into a rigid schedule or policing ourselves with time management and productivity metrics. In this episode, I also walk through how the upcoming Spring Sanctuary actually works as an eight-week asynchronous space designed to support this shift. Instead of forcing productivity, we experiment with attunement. Instead of racing the clock, we begin responding to Season. The structure is simple. The shift is profound. 299. 6 Easy Ways to Adapt to the Daylight Savings Time Change: Real Tips That Naturally Help Your Body (And Your Kids!)

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. Our circadian rhythms are all thrown off right now with Daylight Savings Time (not because of Nature but because of our silly illusions about time lol.) I used to feel low like this all the time too, until I learned these tips I'm going to share. There are some specific cues from our external environment that "train" our circadian rhythm: light, food, sleep, temperature, and location. Aren't our bodies are so brilliantly adaptive?! Here's EXACTLY what to do this week (and actually, forevermore! You feel so much better when your circadian rhythm and therefore your hormones aren't f*cked up.) 298. Outgrowing Is Different Than Rebelling: Why Rebellion Is Still a Cage

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. There's a difference between rebelling against a system and outgrowing it. Rebellion still orbits the thing you are pushing against. It's reactive. It stays locked in opposition. Outgrowing something is quieter. In this episode, I talk about the difference between those two orientations and why many people who leave high-control environments remain emotionally tethered to them long after they have technically exited. There is a phase where anger is clarifying and necessary. And then there's another phase where Sovereignty becomes quiet. Instead of fighting the system, you begin orienting your Life toward something different. We also explore how this shift shows up in everyday life, from the way we relate to work and productivity to the way we relate to Time itself. The Spring Sanctuary is not about rebellion against modern life. It's about restoration. 297. Cruel Optimism & You: Why Personal Effort vs. Unnatural Systems Keeps Us Stuck

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. The problem has never been you. In his book Stolen Focus, Johann Hari’s explains the idea of cruel optimism, the lie that encourages us to believe that systemic problems can be solved through more personal effort. If you're overwhelmed, manage your time better. If you're overweight, eat less & move more.If you're exhausted, optimize your routine. If you can't focus, try harder. In this conversation, we explore the difference between being personally responsible for your life and being unfairly blamed for systems that were never designed for human rhythms in the first place. I'm also sharing the deeper orientation behind the Spring Sanctuary—an 8-week shared quest in rewilding our relationship to Time by attuning to Nature and our Intuition. 296. Introducing Spring Sanctuary: An 8-Week Shared Quest to Rewild Time

🌸The Spring Sanctuary is now open! Join me March 25-May 15 in a protected wildlife preserve for your Natural Self. Today’s episode is a simple invitation into the Spring Sanctuary—an 8-week, fully asynchronous shared quest to rewild our time, energy, and motivation by attuning to Nature and our Intuition. In this episode, I describe the FEELING behind the space we're creating together this Spring. I talk about the idea of protected Land—wildlife preserves where nothing is forced to perform and everything grows according to its Nature—and how that same principle can be applied to the way we relate to Time. Spring Sanctuary is designed as a protected stretch of Time inside modern life. It's fully asynchronous, meaning: there are no live calls, no clock time, and no pressure to show up at a specific hour. Instead, we move in rhythm with the season and our real lives. If you've been craving a slower, steadier way to move through this Season without abandoning your values or responsibilities, this episode introduces the shared quest we're beginning together.
