    Today’s guest is Sattva Leading Teacher Annemarie Brown! Annemarie has been living and teaching at the Sattva Yoga Academy for over 10 years, and in this episode, she gives us an introduction into Vedic astrology—known as Jyotish, or The Science of Light. She shares her personal journey of discovering Jyotish and how she became deeply captivated by it. We explore how this ancient wisdom can support our evolution and growth, and how it offers powerful insights into deeper alignment and union. Annemarie describes Jyotish as the "missing puzzle piece" in the yogic journey—helping us move with greater awareness toward our highest potential. We also talk about the remedies often recommended in a Jyotish reading, including the use of gemstones—tools that have been part of the yogic tradition for thousands of years.     Today’s guest is the inspiring Tommy Rosen. Tommy is an addiction recovery expert and a brilliant yoga teacher. Having experienced addiction himself and now being fully recovered for over 30 years, he founded Recovery 2.0—a global organization dedicated to inspiring and uniting people beyond addiction through the practice of yoga. Recovery 2.0 is a vibrant and welcoming community grounded in shared intention, mutual support, and a deep commitment to living fully beyond addiction. In this rich and heartfelt conversation, we explore powerful themes such as being in service and shifting from self-centeredness to helping others, cultivating self-compassion and moving from discipline to devotion, developing discernment to recognize which inner voice to follow, and inviting more playfulness into our daily lives.     Today’s guest is Dr. Anuranjan Bist and I am very grateful for this conversation as it brings so much light to the way our mind works! Dr. Anuranjan Bist is a pioneer in the field of mental health. He is a psychiatrist with many years of experience, trained in both the USA and India. His deep fascination with the human psyche and his search for Truth have led him on an incredible journey. Today, he has developed his own unique approach, combining techniques such as TMS, ketamine therapy, and yogic technologies to truly offer healing on all levels of the human body - mind. In this conversation, we talk about his personal and academic journey, including how he found his guru. We explore the nature of the mind, what makes a doctor a true healer, and take a holistic look at psychological conditions such as trauma and anxiety. We also dive into topics like intuition, surrender, and the incredible power of attention—and how we must learn to cultivate it.
