S1.2 Who is Mike Jeffries?
He made Abercrombie and Fitch a millennial megabrand, marketing "sexy clothes on sexy people”, as one former colleague of Mike Jeffries put it.
At home he had model-like men washing his cars and staff to chauffeur his dogs around. But what else was going on at his Hamptons mansion? “There was something about it that was strange,” according to a former staffer, “why wouldn’t anyone talk about it?” Rianna decides to investigate.

A former US marine turned reality TV star is invited to Mike Jeffries' mansion in the Hamptons. He dreams of being an Abercrombie and Fitch model, and he hopes to impress the fashion mogul.
But the mood at the event begins to change and he says he soon realises this is not the interview he was expecting: "I didn't feel like I had control”.

These journalists take reporting to the ‘Matrix moment’ of Reporting with a capital R - their gender has EVERYTHING to do with it yet their investigative spidey senses are DEF informed by how the works perceives them and for that We, the Listners, both Present & Future Activists, are indebted
Very interesting
This is a very intriguing story that I never imagined could happen. I tip my hat to the brave men that shared their stories and the reporters two years of work uncovering it. I pray for justice for all abused.
Needed to be told
This is a great podcast to open people’s eyes about the dirty evil side of corporate manipulation. Money is the root of all evil and the Ambercrombie guys used it to abuse. It also details how men use sex and money against other men to control them.
Sex trafficking is very prominent and needs to be talked about more! Very well done!
