    Book Writing as Cultural Legacy

    Today I embark on a 30-day book writing challenge. Last year, one of my goals was to finish my book(s) of poetry. Spoiler alert: That didn’t happen. So I decided to challenge myself to 30 days of working on my book non-stop. Then I thought, what if others wanted to join me? That’s when the idea for First Pages Week was born, a book writing challenge where you write alongside me and we keep each other accountable. In this episode I also explain WTF a book doula is, how I’ve created my process after helping people write over 20 books, discuss how I work with clients (the same steps I take you through in the challenge), why I see storytelling and book writing as cultural legacy, and how to reconnect with your voice so that you don’t have to rely on AI (because who wants that to be their legacy?). I also take you through a visualization exercise to help provide clarity on the story you’re being called to tell.     It’s Never Too Late to Find Your Passion with Artist Anastasia Shi

    This week I sit down with my dear friend, multidisciplinary artist Anastasia Shi. Anastasia’s path has definitely been winding; born and raised in Siberia, she moved to China the first chance she got, after which she moved to New York where she discovered her passion for art, before finally ending up in Mexico City with me! In this episode we talk about the need for playfulness in the digital age, how to follow your heart and gut when making major decisions, how your visa status can change the course of your life, why we ask ourselves “If you were to die tomorrow, would you have regrets?” as a barometer for life, and how to not let logic cloud your artistic process.     What Parts of Yourself Have You Hidden Away? My Voice Journey

    In today’s solo episode, I recount the journey of recovering my voice—how I used to sing as a child and suddenly stopped, the emotional moment when I heard myself sing again, and how I realized I had to reintegrate the practice back into my life in order to truly reconnect with the healing power of my voice. I also dive into the yogic paths, why singing mantras has become so important to me, and how healing and reconnecting with my own voice has been medicine for my work as a storyteller; one I’m now ready to share with others.     The Gut-Brain Connection with Tess Richardson

    Today on the podcast I chat with my friend Tess Richardson, an Energy Optimization & Performance Coach. After training executives at various organizations, Tess discovered that many people (especially high performers) are systematically destroying their cellular energy through chronic stress, poor blood sugar management, and gut dysfunction.     Building a Business Abroad with Tasha Prados

    This week on the podcast I sit down with my friend Tasha Prados, a Branding & Marketing Strategy Consultant, Freelance Strategist, and Digital Nomad.
