Studio 701 is a podcast made by WCTV19 staff members. It is recorded in our studio at 701 Wildcat Blvd. The WCTV19 program includes three courses, with 64 staff members. The three classes write, produce, and shoot a daily show called, “Unleashed.” The three segment show is created by teens, documenting reality. It contains feature stories from the News staff, commercials and PSAs from Production staff, and an update from our Sports staff.

Those things can make us feel drained and overtime ... burnt out. Find out on this episode as hosts Paige Friesen and Bella Morris hear spirit coordinator Meadow Dettner’s experience of event planning and what it takes to get the entire school more involved.

    In our 13th episode of Studio 701, we discuss Whitney’s Best Buddies Club’s. We talk about the connection the club has to United Sports and Child Development lll. The Best Buddies Club unites Whitney’s neurodivergent and neurotypical students in a safe space to hang out and enjoy lunch together. The club helps bring awareness to a misunderstood community and teaches neurotypical students how to treat people on the spectrum with kindness and understanding. Alyssa Hutchcraft and Tilly Urieff talk with Senior Maggie Crocker about her experience as president of Best Buddies and what she hopes students can learn from this diverse club.
