    Fluke Family Murders

    Fluke Family Murders

In October 1997, Ronald Fluke decided that his wife and two girls would be better off dead than living with the shame of having a father with a failed business. He would use a hatchet and a gun to murder his family, then calmly turn himself in to the police.
This man was just one of many family annihilators that we have researched over the years, but you may have never heard of this one.

    Chanda Turner

    Chanda Turner

In July 2000, Chanda Turner was a 23 year old woman living her best summer life in Oklahoma. Lake days merged into work days and she was holding it all down. Her life seemed like a normal 20 something life, until she is found dead on her own back porch one night.
What actually happened that night? Did she shoot herself and then somehow get rid of the gun? Or was she shot and a crime covered up?
Hopefully Chanda's parents will get some closure and some justice in the death of their daughter.

Okie gals to a T!

I was happy to see a podcast about crimes in my home state. I do get the sense that you ladies are new to podcasting and I think you will get there. I don't know how serious you are about the podcast and for what reason you are doing it. I feel like many people want a podcast to try to solve a crime and/or make sure the victims are given respect. Sometimes this means leaving out any opinions that you may have when talking about them. I can, totally, tell you all are from OK; there is just an attitude that us Okies have... that is not always understood by all. I do think that it may be a great idea to speed up the story by minimizing the small-talk, not pertinent to the storyline, at least during the telling of the story. Maybe have both of you tell the story in parts. And try to speed ppup the talk in general... personally, I listen at at least 1 1/4 speed. I hope that you ladies aren't offended by my critique. I think you are doing FINE. And I hope you keep growing and learning. Thank you for the work you put into the Podcast.A

Ok

I like the overall information if I could skip through the first 8/10 mins chit of chat. It’s not updated every week as they claim

Odcr

As I’m listening to the Jaymie Adams case and hearing y’all talk about Oscn it makes me feel better about myself. I however look on ODCR daily to see the new charges dropped in my county (carter).
