60 | When Everyone Sees a Defiant Child: Seeing Who Your Strong-willed or Neurodivergent Child Really Is

Parenting Beyond Meltdowns is Ranked in the Top 2.5% of Podcasts Worldwide! When your child is labeled defiant, difficult, or disrespectful, do you wish people could see the child you know underneath the behavior? Have you ever thought, “If they could just understand my child, they would see there is so much more going on here”? And mama, when the meltdowns and challenging behavior keep coming, do you ever wonder if you’re struggling to see past the behavior too? In this episode, we’re talking about what it means to truly see your strong-willed or neurodivergent child, especially when the rest of the world may only see defiant behavior, meltdowns, or dysregulation. Whether your child has ADHD, ODD, PDA or ASD, challenging behavior can easily become the lens through which others see them, and sometimes, without realizing it, the lens through which we see them too. I share a moment from reading To Kill a Mockingbird with my daughter that made me reflect on the years I spent wishing other people could see who my son really was beneath his behavior. We’ll explore how nervous system dysregulation and being dysregulated can communicate that a child is struggling, without allowing that behavior to become their identity. Emotional regulation and building connection aren’t about excusing harmful behavior or abandoning boundaries, but about learning to see the person standing in front of us while we address what happened. Mama, when the world struggles to understand your child, home can become the place where they know they are still seen, known, and deeply loved. Micro Shift of the Week: The next time your child’s behavior becomes so big that it’s difficult to see anything else, pause and ask: “What might I see if I looked beneath the behavior?” You don’t have to immediately know the answer. Simply become willing to look.   Links & Resources: • Book A Right Fit Call: https://amandacalfee.com • Join the Insiders List: https://amandacalfee.com/page/insider-list • Ask Amanda: https://www.videoask.com/f20plh96w • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/amandacalfee/ • Email: amanda@amandacalfee.com • Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/anchoredmamas     Disclaimer I am not a doctor, therapist, or medical professional. • Clearing Trapped Emotions with the Emotion Code with Dr. Bradley Nelson

    10/10/2019

Clearing Trapped Emotions with the Emotion Code with Dr. Bradley Nelson

Release trapped emotional patterns from yourself and your child to clear the path to autism recovery. The Emotion code was developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, one of the world’s foremost experts in the fields of bio-energetic medicine and energy psychology. Have you ever wondered if there were emotional blocks, perhaps in your subconscious mind, that might be keeping you from having better relationships, keeping you in a less than desirable financial state, or even preventing you or your child from improved health? Have you ever wondered why therapy appointments and positive affirmations did not make much, or any differences? In this tutorial you will learn possible reasons why. Even better, I will show you what you can do about it. Children with autism have many types of infections including Lyme, chronic inflammation from many issues such as mold, parasites, gut dysbiosis, toxic overload, and much more. These issues can sometimes be held in the body if there is an emotional component keeping them there. Keep an open mind. This work has helped thousands of people worldwide get better from both physical and mental health issues. Please watch the tutorial video to help you understand more about it and to help you learn how you can do it! The Bodies Way fo Protecting Us Can Create Trapped Emotions that Prevent Optimum Recovery from Autism Learn how the subconscious mind surrounds areas of the body, including the heart, to protect us. Dr. Nelson has found in his work with thousands of people that all children with autism have a “heart wall”. This emotional energy prevents recovery. When the heart wall is removed testimonials show that eye contact is often restored, and much more. Toxic insults from vaccinations and heavy metals create trapped emotions that distort the energy field and interfere with the bodies ability to function well. Listen to my radio show interview with Dr. Nelson on the emotion code. Dr. Nelson shares his 20 plus years of experience and testimonials from parents of children on the autism spectrum. The Emotion Code is a safe, simple process with very powerful results. I have a tutorial video for you with my Emotion Code practitioner giving a demonstration using me as his subject. He will give you a brief description of what the Emotion Code is all about and then he’s going to do a demonstration on me. This is something that you can do at home on your children. We will keep it a bit brief, of course, it can get much more detailed in a full session. I wanted to give you a little bit of something hands-on to utilize because you’ve got to clear these old buried emotions from yourself and your children to be able to help the body recover, or regain health. That’s the whole point of it. Dr. Nelsons Biography Dr. Bradley Nelson is the developer of the most advanced form of energy medicine on the planet. A holistic Chiropractic Physician and Medical Intuitive, Dr. Nelson is one of the world’s foremost experts in the emerging fields of Bioenergetic Medicine and Energy Psychology. Dr. Nelson has trained more than 2500 healing practitioners worldwide in how to identify and release trapped emotions that harm physical and mental health and relationships. His bestselling book, “The Emotion Code”, is helping people all over the world to improve their lives by ridding themselves of their imbalanced emotional baggage. Users of The Emotion Code technique have found freedom from emotional problems such as depression and anxiety, as well as physical problems including fatigue, pain and disease. A key element of The Emotion Code is removing emotional baggage that has clustered around the heart, interfering with ones ability to find love and success. Dr. Nelson has coined this cluster of emotions, the “Heart-Wall,” and it has been called “the most important discovery in the history of energy medicine.” Dr. Nelson graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College West, in San Lorenzo, California in 1988. As a practicing holistic physician, Dr. Nelson specialized in helping those suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and successfully treated patients from across the United States and Canada until his retirement from active practice in 2004. For the past 24 years, Dr. Nelson has lectured internationally on the healing of chronic and incurable diseases through energy work and restoring balance to the 6 key elements of health in the body. In 2009 he channeled his life’s work into a simple yet powerful self-study course known as, “The Body Code” system, which teaches students how to balance the body in these 6 key areas. The Body Code is being used successfully by doctors and laypeople alike to improve the health of thousands of people all over the world. Click Here for more details.
