You're listening to Amma Mia podcast. Good morning, angels. I hope you are absolutely glowing today because we have a cracker of an episode. I'm Axe London and there's so much going on. Shoud we just get into it. Let's just buddy, we'll get into it today. Hayden Panachier has come out, Kesha has been wearing something around her neck that makes me feel a little woozy. Justin Baldoni has something to say about the Black Lively settlement, and a huge update from the world of TV and movies was some exciting new projects just announced. So watch you wait for bebe Let's Possum tea first up. Hayden Panachier, best known for Heroes, Nashville and screen Franchise, has come out as bisexual at thirty six, ahead of the release of her memoir This is Me A Reckoning on May twelve. She told Us Weekly, now that I know this book is coming out and I've chosen to share it with the world, I'm comfortable to confidently say that, yes, I'm bisexual. 01:04Speaker 2 I said it. 01:05Speaker 1 That's the first time I got to say it out loud. She explained why it took so long with such clarity. She said it was never the right time. First she was too young and forced to be perfect at all times. Then came the period where people saw women coming out as bisexual as a fad, and she was terrified of being accused of jumping on a bandwagon. She also shared that she's dated women beginning from a very young age with a constant presence of paparazzi. Meant she never felt she could fully emotionally invest because here she did fall in love. That wasn't something that she wanted to ever have to hide. Well, he's to live in your truth, babe, Get a girl next time. My queen Kesha has made an interesting admission about a delightful piece of jewelry she's been choosing to wear around her neck. I mean, we look at the met gala where seeing the rock wearing a five point five million dollar watch. Half a million dollars were the pearls and other ladies and Kesha's guard, Nah, I've got something better at home, my plus center. 01:56Speaker 2 So your placenta supposedly gives you seconds, helps open your third eye, according to my mother. So she stuck it in the oven. She put it in a box, and she found it when I was like twenty one years old in the basement. Wait, she had to like fight for my placenta, my mom. They tried to take my placenta away from her at the hospital and she like fucking threw a conniption fit, and she fought for it. She fought for that. So now I carry it around. She put it in the oven, strapped it up in a box, stuck it in the basement. We found it, Throw it in the blender, pop it in a necklace work art. 02:42Speaker 1 A quick update on the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni situation, because there's been a slight development overnight. Yesterday we reported that two head settled with no money changing hands and no apology from Baldoni. Now he's a lawyer. Brian Friedman has spoken to the press and the words he used were very deliberate. Of course, he said, I can't talk about the term of the settlement, but what I can tell you is that he is ecstatic. That both Jamie and Justin are ecstatic at the result of this and the settlement itself. They are very pleased with how this has ended up. Friedman also made the point that by the time settlement discussions began, Baldoni himself was no longer even a party to the case. Ten of the thirteen claims had been thrown out, and the remaining claims were against Wayfair Studios and its PR team, not Baldoni personally. He said, you're looking at this settlement as a winner or a loss. I think he just looks at it as a logical ending to a case is already out of Frankly, stick around. A TV and movie update awaits on the other side, from White Lotus to Hocus Pokis and Harry Potter. Welcome back to Morning to You, where I've got a stack of news about upcoming movies and TV shows, and we'll kick things off with the White Lotus as we're getting more and more information about what specifically caused the difference of opinions which led to Helena Bonham Carter quitting the show. According to Variety, the created differences came down to Mike White demanding a oysterous performance from her role of a washed up start chasing a Hollywood comeback bottom. Carter reportedly didn't want to deliver that what specifically was asked that she felt she couldn't give. I had many many questions they may never get answered. The door remains open for a future season. Apparently we live in hope. HBO has officially renewed it's Harry Potter series for season two before season one has even aired, which tells me one thing as Gond be good. Season one at Philosopher's Stone, Premier's Christmas Day twenty twenty six, I hope my family aren't expecting me to spend any time with them that day. Season two will adapt Chamber of Secrets and begins filming this autumn. John Brown, a writer from Succession, has been promoted to co showrunner for season two, joining current show run at Francesca Gardner. His quote on the news seems you're never too old to get your invitation to hog Quarts. I'm already sold obviously. And finally, hocus Pogus IIE is officially in early development at Disney Live Action Studios at all three Sanders Sisters, Sanders Sisters, Back, Vet Middler, Sarah, Desic Parker, and Kakinademia all confirmed to reprise their roles, and unlike Hocus Pocos two, which went straight to streaming, there are plans for a theatrical release this time and I will be in the cinema in full witch costume. I love this movie so much. Practical Magic two and Hocus Pocos three, What a time to be Witchie. And that, my Sweet Angels, is all I've got time for today. I hope you enjoyed your short hit up entertainment news for your Thursday morning. I'll be back on Monday with more of the good stuff, and in the meantime, make sure you check back in around three pm for the spill Digtive and Mass London. Your host executive producer is Minitius Warren and we're back next week. 05:37Speaker 2 Bye, Mamma Mia acknowledges the traditional owners of the land. Executive Producer: Monisha Iswaran Audio & Video Producer: Michael Kean Mamamia acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we have recorded this podcast.                                                                                                     From Mamma Mia. 00:01Speaker 2 Welcome to the Spill your daily pop culture fects. My name is manishaus Warren, producer of The Spell, but filling in today, and I'm joined by Pena provis And today We've got so much to get into. We're unpacking the blue dot phenomenon that's kind of destroying the music industry. Plus one of Hollywood's cutest couples has some exciting news, and we're bringing you on a bit of a walk down memory lane, a bit of a history lesson on how they met and fell in love. But first, a new trailer has dropped for a movie that I really couldn't be more excited about, and I think a lot of people feel the same way. Tina, Are you excited about the Odyssey? 00:36Speaker 3 I'm so excited because the cast looks insane and it just looks like it's going to be the biggest blockbuster. 00:43Speaker 2 Tell me where you remember my wife? As sorry, n. 00:51Speaker 1 Want more? 00:53Speaker 2 Help me go? 00:55Speaker 1 What do you do if he came back here and find all these shoots in his house. 00:59Speaker 2 Were plying you didn't even know? 01:02Speaker 1 Like I'm snaggling past looking after your wife, and so. 01:08Speaker 2 Do you see my dad is coming out when I watched it, I got a similar vibe to watching Dune, which I know you hadn't watched until recently. 01:20Speaker 1 I watched it now. 01:21Speaker 2 Yes, everyone, roll Across said, so, this is the first full length trailer that we've gotten the huge Christopher Nolan adaptation that's dropping in July. And it's based on the Odyssey, which is a classic Greek poem by Homer. It's one of the oldest surviving works of literature and one of the sort of foundational texts of Western literature. But there's been different variations along the way, like there's a retelling that's been done by Stephen Fry and now this big movie is coming out in July. How much do you know about the plot of the Odyssey. I don't know a lot about the plot. Okay, well I learned a lot about it today the trailer. I was like, I feel like I get a picture of what it is. So it's the story of Ody, who is the hero of this plot, and he is a legendary king of Ithaca and a war hero in Greek mythology, and he's trying to get back home after the Trojan War. 02:11Speaker 1 He's sort of like the original road Trip protagonist back home. 02:15Speaker 2 He's in a race against time to get home to his family, and the reason for that is basically because while he was away, a lot of new suitors have popped up who are trying to get with his wife, who's played by Anne Hathaway. 02:27Speaker 1 I love how you're describing it. Yeah, like, here's at a road troop. Everyone's trying to get with his wife. Think about it, Tina, It's a lot like LOI. 02:33Speaker 2 Yeah, the crazy way there's all these men, she's got to couple up with someone. She's got to get home before she couples up with someone else. And watching the trailer, it just really dawned on me how epic this is going to be, because, as you said, the cast is amazing. 02:46Speaker 1 It's that typical Christopher. 02:47Speaker 2 Nolan film where he loves to put a whole bunch of high profile people, even in the supporting roles, to really bring those to life. 02:54Speaker 1 Who are you most excited about in the cast? Liner Browert Patterson. Yeah, I'm just obsessed with him. 02:59Speaker 3 I feel like he's making such a comeback and I love seeing him back on our screens. And I'm excited for like the press run that they'll do because I just love him in all the interviews that he's been doing over the past year. 03:09Speaker 1 He also got a lot of airtime in the trailer. 03:12Speaker 3 Yeah, which I'm surprised because his character isn't the key lead, so I was surprised to see so. 03:17Speaker 1 Much of him in it. Yeah. 03:18Speaker 2 So he plays Antons, who's one of the main suitors who is competing for Penelope's affections, who's played by Anne Hathaway, And Yeah, I. 03:27Speaker 1 Just I thought I felt like I saw more of him than Matt Day. 03:29Speaker 3 Same same when I was kind of reading over like what had come out on the news, I was surprised, like and then getting a little bit of the gist of the plot, I actually thought. 03:37Speaker 1 Rob was going to be the lead. 03:39Speaker 2 Also, what to think of the kind of accent he was doing because he was giving Edward Collin. 03:43Speaker 1 Do you think it was a bit of a nix? I was like, is it a marriage? Do we just see him like that forever? He's just always going to be Edward Collin. 03:49Speaker 2 He can't break out of it. Zendaya is also in it. She plays Athena, but she wasn't in the trailer, but she's going to play the goddess of Wisdom and War who protects and guides Matt Damon on his journey home. I think the main thing I thought watching the trailer was they captured the urgency and the high stakes really well, like I was stressed. I was like, is he going to get back? Is he going to get back to his wife and son? They're going to be okay. So Tom Holland plays Telemachus, who is the son of the main character who's played by Matt Damon. So it'll be quite cute to see Tom Holland and Zendea both in this film. 04:20Speaker 1 I mean, what do you think of his name? 04:22Speaker 2 I think it sounds like a techno festival, but I just can't imagine someone saying that conversationally. 04:28Speaker 1 No, what's his nickname going to be? Telly? Kelly? Yeah, Kelly. 04:32Speaker 2 But he is also quite under threat in this because all the suitors who are going after his mum trying to get Penelope's affections just sort of kind of want him out of the picture. They want to clean slate to get in there enough. So of course the half of haters can't be stopped. So there's a scene of Anne Hathaway in the trailer and everyone's talking about this one second where she's doing really great acting. She's in the fields of it, but her facial expressions are rather which people are attributing to work being done. So there's just been a lot of common treas no one in Hollywood gets work done. I know, everyone's so unfairly mean to her. There's all these comments saying, you know, her eyebrows and her forehead aren't moving. They didn't have, you know, botox in twelve hundred BCE, so she's getting a little bit of flack for that. But it does look like she's going to be amazing in this movie, and she's having a huge year. So the movie is out July seventeenth. It's going to be a huge theatrical event. And if you want to watch the trailer, it looks visually stunning. So if you want to watch the full thing, there's a link to that in our show notes. 05:28Speaker 1 And yeah, just a few months to go. 05:30Speaker 3 So The Pussycat Dolls are the latest musical app to be struck down by Blue Dot Fever. Now I hadn't heard about this before, but it's basically like when you go on a ticket Master website and you have a look at like the seating map and all of the blue dots are all of the unsold seats. 05:46Speaker 1 So they've actually just had to cancel their tour. 05:49Speaker 3 They've come out with a statement saying that they've had to have a really honest look at the North American run and because of that, they've made the heartbreaking decision to cancel all the tour dates. Now, when I saw they announce their tour from Australia, I was excited for I was like, what a throwback. 06:03Speaker 1 I was excited too. 06:04Speaker 2 I just associate all their songs with you know when I grow up. Yes, like I'm eight years old and I'm like shaking my ass to this song that I don't appropriate. 06:14Speaker 3 Yeah, So it's really disappointing to hear that it has been called off. But they're not the only musical act in the past couple of weeks that have had to pause or you know, cancel their shows. So this follows post Malone. He's had to shift the dates to his tour. Megan Trainer has also canceled, and Zane Now, they all have various reasons for why they've had to cancel their top At the end of the day, they weren't r

MORNING TEA: Blake Lively's Shocking Settlement & Kylie's Met Gala Eyebrow Disaster

This morning, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled their lawsuit and the details are genuinely surprising. I hope you woke up looking better than Kylie Jenno with one bleached eyebrow, because that is today's opening story, and I promise it gets better from Thereage London, and we have a jam packed one today. We've got the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Stargut reaching a stunning conclusion. Rebel Wilson has welcomed her second daughter, the Pussycat Dolls who canceled their tour, and the phrase blue dot fever is about to become part of your vocabulary. And there's a very funny update on the Taylor Swift wedding situation. So let's pour the tea. First up, for the met gala, Kylie bleached her eyebrows to go with the custom Chaparrelli gown a new course with phone nipples and a heavily embellished pearl covered train that took eleven thousand hours of embroidery. The look was stunning. Eyebrows, however, did not survive the return journey. Kylie filmed herself on Instagram stories with one bleached ibra and one that had been died back, but kind of came out an orange brown, absolutely losing it with laughter. I'm okay, look cool, brows are royal?01:20Speaker 1 What is this?01:20Speaker 2 What is this? This looks horrible?01:26Speaker 1 You left her with no hair?01:28Speaker 2 Horrible. I still can't get over the eleven thousand hours of embroidery for one night. Fashion is truly unhinged people. Next time, Rebel Wilson and her wife Ramona have welcomed their second daughter, and she's named Rose Estelle. Rebel posted proud to announce the birth of our second daughter, Rose Astelle. What a gorgeous blessing to have another little girl now on May fourth, It's now four of us. Cute Ramona and I are feeling so incredibly grateful and blessed to go our family. The next day, Rebel share the sweet photo of big sister Royce holding baby Rose for the first time, captioning it Little Angels, The Stick Around, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have reached a settlement and the details are genuinely surprising. The Poissycat Dolls have counseled their tour, and the music industry has a new illness called blue Dot fever. Plus Aaron Morris received a very suspicious wedding invite. Welcome back to your morning tea. After more than a year of Hollywood's most public legal battle, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled two weeks before the trial was set to begin. Both sides released a joint statement saying the film is a source of pride to all of us and acknowledges that concerns raised by miss Lively deserved to be heard. The terms were not disclosed, but Tamz's reported that Blake received no money in the settlement. Last month, a judged throughout ten of Lively's thirteen claims, including all sexual harassment claims, leaving only breach of contract and retaliation. Legal experts say both sides face significant risk going to trial. No apology from Baldoni, no money for Blake, no trial, just to roumid sixty million dollars in legal fees. Yausers, There's a fascinating phenomenon gripping the live music industry right now called Blue Dot Fever, and it's affecting some of the biggest artists in the world, including Megan Trainer, Post Malone, and now the Pussycat Dolls. On the Ticketmaster w app unsold tickets show up as blue dots on a seating chart. Blue dot fever is when an artist anounces a tour, the blue dots never really go away and they eventually cancel and it's spreading. The newly from Pussycat Dolls had to cancel their entire US run, living only the European dates untouched. The way I see it, the class of living crisis is real. Concert ticket prices are extraordinary. People are making hard choices. The era of guaranteed demand for nostalgia tours is clearly over, and finally, country star Marion Morris has revealed that she received what appeared to be a fake text message inviting her to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding. It all went down like this, I'm serious in the States, I gotta ask, do you have any tea on the wedding? No, I mean person to ask. Come on.04:03Speaker 1 I got this like spam text a couple of weeks ago and it was like You're invited to Taylor and Travis's wedding. And I was like this, I'm blocking this because like there's no way they would send an invitation through, Like it's a text like this I mean why not. I was like, how how is this going to my number? The actual?04:22Speaker 2 Yeah? What if I just crashed it? Yeah, jim your phone, I'll tell you how to get it back. Just get it back to watch out World of spam text.04:30Speaker 1 Oh my gosh. Yeah, but I was like, how do they have my number? This is weird meeting, it's real?04:35Speaker 2 You know what that got sent to us?04:36Speaker 1 I would have clicked the link.04:38Speaker 2 I would end up.04:39Speaker 1 Yeah, the virus, Yeah, I got the viruses.04:41Speaker 2 Yeah, Marin. If it turns out that text was true and real and you deleted it, I'm so sorry. And also that would be hilarious. And that, my darlings. Is it for today's episode of Morning Tea. Welcome to the Spill your daily pop culture fixed. I'm Laura Brednick, and I'm Free Player, executive producer of Mamma MIA's interview podcast No Filter, and former fashion magazine editor. Yes, you're always my partner in crime for these red carpet episodes in dcause we both have hot takes. They're usually very different we do. We often have very like opposing ideas. Yes, what was best, what was worse? And we've been avoiding each other in the office all day. Yeah, we had to yell at each other get away from me because we didn't want to. We didn't want to have a donation. Don't even look at it. You can look at me. We didn't want to have the conversation away from the mic. So if you are listening to this, it means you probably listen to our Met Gala little teaser that dropped in the feed earlier today, because we're dropping this episode a little bit later. Because with the Met car there's so many dresses and there's so many interviews, and then celebrities release their own like look books and updates afterwards. So we needed to bring the people boots on the ground. Journalism with all the looks. So that's why we're coming to you today with our special slightly later episode. Now before we jump into the best, worst, most disastrous, most surprising, most sentimental looks of the day, it's a broad, broad range of looks we're getting into. If you want to see the looks, if you want to actually have the photos in front of you, you can go and listen to us on Apple Podcasts where we're on videos, so you can watch us delightful, watch my face get veteran, veteran rhetoric as I get more excited and overwhelmed. Or you can go and look at all the photos in a gallery on Instagram. So just search the Spill podcast on Instagram. The gallery will be clearly labeled in order of how we're speaking about the looks, so you can follow along and see them all there. Okay, without further ad you, well, our first look is kind of a shared one because we want to just start things off with a bang, and that is Miss Beyonce, who came to the Met Gala for the first time. It was it ten years in over a decade. It's just like so exciting to see her back on the Met Gala. Red carpet, which of course is not red. Let's let's start off by saying, give there a carpet. I love the carpet non red. Okay, this might be the only thing. This might be the thing weiss best dressed to the night is the carpet. I loved it. I did a little moss between Yeah. Yeah, they looked like it was like fake but beautifully done. Yeah, very artistic. Really, and let's bring this to the forefront as well. The theme for this U's met Gala is about fashion being art Yes, so costume costume. So what we get to see is not only like the setting, which is why it's not just your standard red carpet being very artistic and very creative. Is the clothes then on it? And I thought, yeah, the way that it looked this time, it was kind of like it's like a beigey sort of cobblestony, Yes, cobblestony, with like the moss between it. And they had all the beautiful kind of draping again coming down the ceiling. It was creamy it was, and greens and purple it was. It was beautiful, which I thought was such a beautiful backdrop to put all the clothes on as well. Yeah, because sometimes the stairs look lovely, but once you get a dress on them, they cancel each other out. Yeah, like remember the pink here the camp Yeah nine much like it was gorgeous, but then some outfits just didn't work. Yeah, no, no, And that's why celebs are releasing their own They're having their own photo shoots first and releasing them because they're like, I can't trust the lighting and any red carpet, but especially the met gala. Can't trust the lighting, can't trust the background. So okay, and that's the thing. As everyone took their photo, that was the bit where the steps before they became green, they were in that beautiful cream color, which is not a nice backdrop for all the dresses. So we had Beyonce rock up has it been there in ten years? And she was wearing a diamond encrusted dress that looked like a skeleton, so it had like the rib cage and like the pelvis and her hands were skeleton kind of a vibe. And I guess that's to show like the body in its like most like basic form a skeleton, a skeleton. And that's what part of the theme was, was showing the body as well, and the body being kind of the basis for art, so as you say, skeleton is the body stripped back to its most basic form. But I mean, of course, because it's Beyonce. It's jewel encrusted and it's incredible. And then she wore this long feathered cake. Yeah, incredible, that dreaped and then the head piece as well. I mean it's Beyonce, She's always going to bring the dru Yeah. Some people are like, oh, she could have lost the head piece and it's like, no, no, the head piece and it was Olivia Rousting, wasn't it. He used to be from Balmain, who's like she's worked with him before. Yes, she's won a lot of Almaine over the years, so yeah, it wasn't surprising that that's who dressed it. I felt, yes, but I think she looked glorious and I loved that she showed up with her gorgeous, gorgeous best accessory, her daughter. Yes, it was a night for daughters. Yes, Nicole kim And was toting one of her daughters down the red carpet and then Beyonce did it. But Blue Ivy, her oldest daughter who's fourteen now, and I think she actually looked like appropriately dressed for fourteen year olds. I do too. There was a lot anund the office. It's about you know, her being on the on the carpet anyway, and at this event, and you know, these experiences that these really young girls are getting to have. But I thought she I agree, I thought she looked age appropriate and so so gorgeousful so much like her mother. Yeah, that was such a moment because the Beyonce floated up and everyone gass and then Blue Ivy floated behind her, and then they had their moment, and they had their moment together, and then jay Z ran up and and then he was in there and but then they obviously I actually feel like as a family they practiced in the mirror at home because when they got into their first formation for their first photo, they just all I did. Yeah, they just instantly got into the right places and held a pose. And I was like, well, you guys have been practicing that the family living room. Yeah, and I appreciate that level of And Beyonce is a co chair this year. What's interesting is the timing of Beyonces arrived. Yes, if you'll notice all the other co chairs arrived at the top of the top of the day, which is kind of usually, which is how it goes, because they meant to greet people as they come in. Yes, that's part of it. They meant to greet people as they come in. Beyonce has ascended above that level where she is not a greeter. No, they had She's up stairs and being like, hik so much for coming to our party, thanks for coming for a little shin dig Like, no, Beyonce is not doing that. Her arrival was such a moment. It really was. Okay, who else did you go? Because we get week spend an hour on everyone fifty looks to get through. Okay, I'm going to start strut with my favorite of the whole night, and you won't be surprised by this, I don't think. Okay. My favorite was Oh, Sabrina Carpenter. Yes, Sabrina was in Dior. She's been wearing a lot of Dior lately. Jonathan Anderson, who was at Louerva, is now in the House of Dior and doing the most incredible job. Because there has been like quite a shuffle in the last couple of years in the design houses, where like there were designers in certain houses that felt a little bit mislike. Now, I'm not saying he was amazing at Louerva. He did a great job there, but I do feel like what he is doing at Dior is what should be happening at Dior. So I was very excited for this year's met Gala because I feel like after years of kind of the wrong creative directors being in the houses that I felt maybe were they weren't aligned to, or that there were people in those roles that maybe weren't doing the best job interesting for those houses, the dust is settled, and I feel like this is the first time in a few y

Executive Producer: Monisha Iswaran Audio & Video Producer: Michael Kean Mamamia acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we have recorded this podcast.                                     From Mamma Mia.00:02Speaker 2 Welcome to The Spill, your daily pop culture fix. I'm Laura Brodnick and I'm Tiner Burk, and welcome to a history making episode of The Spill. Because in the six years I've been hosting this podcast, we've never done this before. So Tina, it's a big day for you to be here. So what is happening If you hear the frantic energy in our voices, the flutter in our hearts, just we're in the midst of right now, in real time, in the midst of the twenty twenty six Met Gala.00:29Speaker 3 Absolutely wild time's happening here.00:31Speaker 2 So we're in the studio. The flurry of the red carpet is still happening outside. And here's the thing about the Met Gala, guys, I'm know if anyone else is across this, there's a lot of celebrities there.00:40Speaker 1 There's a lot of dresses.00:41Speaker 2 And we know we normally drop out big episode, like our full episode every day at three pm. That has been the rule. But today we're breaking the rules slightly. So we're coming to you now with a little teaser. So I hope you didn't look at the time and say, oh my God, their Metgala episode is fifteen minutes. Guys, my intros are fifteen minutes. We could ever so never fear. The full Met Garlett episode is actually dropping in the spill feed later today, but we needed time to do boots on the ground, or at least boots on the Getty on the Getty video images to make sure that we saw all the dresses that we could bring you a full recap that we were across all the celebrity drama, we were across the interviews, we were across just all the bits and pieces, so that we're not bringing you half an episode exactly. I would never It is a long red carpet. It kicks off at eight and it goes to a lunch time like it's a long deal, you know. And yeah, and spoiler alert for I guess how that what if Merrel Streeps said me the other day named us how the sausage is made behind the scene. Is that we normally record at eleven, which means we would have missed all the dresses. So we're coming to you today with just a little update to tide you over of what you can expect in our Met Garlett episode. Because what we do know so far, so we're coming to you from the past. We don't know what's going to happen. Like a ghost of Christmas Pass. That's the ghost of Metgala's pass. We don't know what's going to happen yet. But it's kind of shaping up to be a bit controversial, is that right, Teterburg?02:06Speaker 3 It is The Metgala's never without its controversy, especially in recent years. I think as us normal people have gotten more of a glimpse into it on social media. We now understand the cost tickets to go are upwards of one hundred thousand dollars. For like all of the famous stars you see walking the carpet, the clothes they're wearing are worth hundreds of thousands, if not millions sometimes of dollars. The diamonds, the jewels, all of it. It's so luxurious and beautiful, Yes, and I understand why it exists, But for so many people they look at it and they go, what a privilege and waste of money while real people are struggling. And that has really come to a head this year due to the honorary coachairs Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos. So according to page six, Jeff and Lauren would have paid about ten million dollars to be named honorary coachairs, and that basically means nothing, Like being an honorary coacher doesn't mean anything. It's not like the others who have actual roles in deciding what happens. It's just a title to show like your contribution to the culture. So basically Jeff and Lauren have been like accused of buying their way into the culture, with which I think is kind of fair. Yeah, but I do think that's what's happened here. But there's like an anti oligarch, anti tech activist group called Everyone Hates Elon, and they have been like blasting New York City with papers about boycott the Bezos met Baal. There's all of these signs going up that are anti Amazon, anti Jeff Bezos. And at the same time, also what's happening in New York is that the New York Maya Zoron Mum Danny is going to be like the first New York City first couple to not go to the met Gala, and he's made a statement of like he's looking forward to spending his time focused on making like affordability his priority in the most expensive city in the United States, and he said that's what I'm looking forward to spending my time focused on on the first Monday in May.03:45Speaker 1 So so fair.03:47Speaker 3 Quite a time period in which to be doing it. So it's made a lot of political discourse pop up about Jeff Bezos and we're definitely going to see I think more of it on the carpet as it keeps unfolding.03:57Speaker 2 Yes, So that has caused a bit of a rift in the fashion community, with some people in the fashion community saying we're just not going this year, We're going to sit it out, and then there's some roomored people like, people like is that why Meryl Streep's not going?04:09Speaker 1 Is that why end Days not going?04:11Speaker 2 I mean, neither of those women is ever going to confirm nor deny anything.04:14Speaker 3 But very interesting timing because Zendea's been seven years straight and this is the one she's sitting out of and she's around at the moment that much. We know she's on a lot of press tours for her film, so it actually would be a great year for her to go.04:25Speaker 2 Well, yes, but also she is going to have five massive red cars environments this year. That are all her. Whole carpet at every event is all about her. So maybe she thought this year she doesn't have to go. Maybe she's trying to pull a bit of a Beyonce because Beyonce is going to the met Gala this year for the first time since twenty sixteen, so for first time in ten years, and that is one of the reasons that Beyonce has her level of fame. Obviously she's talented and beautiful and all those things, but she's become so elusive.04:53Speaker 3 Yeah, she knows when to pull back.04:55Speaker 1 A sighting of her is like seeing like a like a what's an animal that's extinct? Nicon?05:00Speaker 2 Yeah, well never Yeah, I was gonna say unicorns are extinct.05:03Speaker 3 I didn't know you were going to say extinct, and unicorn came out before you were done.05:06Speaker 2 I was gonna say, wow, what why were we doing a podcast on that?05:09Speaker 1 But it feels like breaking news.05:11Speaker 2 I was going to say, like a Tasmanian devil or something like that still look or a Dodo bird if you saw one of those.05:18Speaker 1 This is not a wildlife podcast. If you saw one of those, you'd be like, wow, no one ever sees that.05:22Speaker 2 That's Beyonce. That is Beyonce because she's so she doesn't need the press. No, she's beyond press. Yeah, well she's beyond so maybe yeah. And I feel like Zenda is going in that way too, absolutely beyond the press as well.05:32Speaker 1 Yeah for sure.05:33Speaker 3 And like Beyonce's joined by Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour as the co chairs, which means they're kind of like as well as the hosting committee in charge of like figuring out the theme, the guest list, like who's coming all of that jazz. They do have an involved role, the co chairs and the honorary Hosting Committee, which is like fifty celebrities. Yeah, the honorary So like the co chair committee, which I didn't even realize is the thing.05:54Speaker 1 It's the host committee.05:55Speaker 2 Do we think that they're like getting on a zoom or this sting on a table and someone's bringing snacks and someone's taking notes. I would love to be a fly on the wall for this because the host committee is Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Tiana Taylor.06:06Speaker 1 Even just those three, I'd be like, girls, I'll play in the event. You guys just gossip.06:12Speake

Good morning, angels. I hope you're glowing today because we have an absolutely jam packed episode. He just happened overnight. I'm gonna get you through. You just settle in, relax. I got you babes. Today, We've got baby news for two famous ladies. Brittany Spears Always Jail Time, Olivia Drigo versus Jake Paul and the Roasting Steaks and the Spice Girls give us a mini reunion in Leeds that has sent the Internet quietly feral. Let's pour the tea baby baby news to kick us off. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have welcomed their third child and announced it in the most adorable way. Benji posted to Instagram that he and Cameron are happy, excited, and feeling so blessed to announce the birth of our third child, Nautous Madden. Welcome to the world sun. The announcement came with the trading card graphic featuring a pirate ship and the meeting of the name Sailor Navigator Voyager, one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown. Karon and Benji are also parents to daughter Radix and son Cardinal two. So now they've got three kids under seven. Witches a lot. Cameron, who came out of a ten year Hollywood retirement last year, but back in action is clearly thriving on all fronts. Radix, Cardinal and Nortis Madam. They are committed to a theme and I respect it enormously. And more baby news, this one with royal flavor. Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack brooks Bank can be ever heard a richer name are expecting their third child. Buckingham Palace announced her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and mister Jack brooks Bank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together due this summer. August, aged five and Ernest, age two are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty the King has been informed and is delighted with the news. And next time. Britney spears a pete in court yesterday by her lawyer for her duy case and has avoided jail time. She pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of reckless driving involving alcohol and drugs and was sentenced to twelve months probation, fines, and must complete a three month DY course. The original dui charge has been dropped, but it's a tough one because obviously I want Brittany to be happy and healthy and not got a jail, but also driving while under the influence so incredibly dangerous. She was offered the deal because she has no prior DUI history, there was no crash, and she voluntarily checked herself into rehab straight after the rest. She completed that treatment last week. Let's hope she's an upward trajectory soon. Stick around when we return. Chris Jenna has her site set on a new client, and Jake Paul has responded to the roasting from Olivia Rodrigo on SNL Welcome Back to Morning Tea. Reports have emerged that Chris Jenna has her site set on Robert Erwin as her next management client, and insider says Chris is impressed by Robert's incredibly telegenic, wholesome, and authentic nature. However, Terry has reservations, specifically that she doesn't want Robert to come tabloid fodder. The source added, history has not been kind to the men who get involved with the Gardashians and Terry being the absolute icon. Geeze made her own feelings pretty clear with the Steve Irwin gala in Las Vegas over the weekend, joking about Robert's increasingly shirtless content, saying Steve never took his shirt off for wildlife. Yeah, well, respectfully, Terry, Steve didn't have fast delicious rig But I got to agree with Mamma Bear Chrisky is the most talented strategic manager on the planet. But our boy Robert is a precious, wholesome flower who must be protected at all costs quick ones to close us out, and they are both delightful in their own way. First, Olivia Rodrigue made her S ANDL hosting debut over the weekend absolutely smashed it. In an opening monologue, she called out her former Disney Channel co star Jake Paul. 03:50Speaker 2 We had an incredible cast, which included acting legend Jake Paul, and we'n always talk about our futures. Me and Jake, I'd say, I really want to create music that explores the complexities of girls my age, and he'd say, well, one day, I really want to beat up old guys on Netflix, and we both did it. Hooray. 04:11Speaker 1 Paul has responded on social media and it's a genuinely lovely response. He posted that they both had the vision and he said proud of you for real, adding when challenged, I got that she was making a joke at my expense. So watch she's on SNL and that's what they're supposed to do, Jake Paul. Being gracious and self aware is not something I expected to type today, but here we are. Lead The Spice Girls gave us well. A couple of the Spice Girls gave us a completely unexpected mini reunion in Leeds of the weekend, Melsey was performing at a show for her new album when she spotted Melby in the crowd and got her up friend cheeky sing along for me. My loves The Girls will be back any feed from three pm with this spill. My name is ex London. Hosted producer. Executive producer is Minishia. It's Warren. I'm Laura Brednick and I'm Tina Burke and coming up on the show today, Look, Taylor slipped us up to some antics. There's secret coded messages in her outfits, there's potential secret songs, there's a countdown.00:15Speaker 1 I'm gonna be so honest.00:16Speaker 2 I'm gonna let you, Tina Burke, explain that because that is wait, you're crazy, Taylor, so fandom that's your business. Plus something I have been obsessed with for the last few days. I know we both have, but we need to talk about it. The real life Emily from The Devil Wears Prada has come forward after all these years, and she's given some really interesting insights about the author of the book, Anna wind Tour Emily Blunt. We're getting get into the biggest takeaways from that, but first you have some other things to discuss.00:43Speaker 3 I have some things that have come across my desk this morning. One of them is very short and I just need to touch on it really quickly, Will And it is that. Obviously, last week we discussed Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles engaged. According to people magazine. Do you know what their middle names are? Her middle name is Isabelle, Isabella Isabelle.01:00Speaker 1 Last, what his is? No, it's Edward. Oh they are Edward and Bella. Oh my god, this has blown up.01:08Speaker 2 You might be the only person who. Oh no, it has blown up on socials this morning.01:12Speaker 3 It's come across the internet because they are Bella and Edward from Twilight, which means they are now faded to be together forever. I was skeptical before. I was like, they're not gonna last. It's not gonna happen. And now I'm like, no, they're Bella and Edward, so like it's gonna happen. By Stephanie Wheer, Oh my god, I love some little nerd put that together. I love nerds.01:28Speaker 1 And they together.01:29Speaker 2 For nine months, we've had this information for nine months and only now have people picked it up.01:32Speaker 3 Someone sat on it until now, And maybe they'll have a little renett me of their own, just something to think about, something a bit.01:37Speaker 1 More serious, do you think of it?01:39Speaker 2 Well, I'm sure they'll be thrilled that people have figured out they're supposed to be together because they're middle names.01:43Speaker 1 Yes, no other reason.01:46Speaker 2 Yeah, something more serious that isn't more serious, No, but with just my lurkings on social media is the Summer I Turn Pretty has officially.01:55Speaker 3 Been done filming the movie, which is very exciting. It's been really like under wrapped of what exactly the plot was going to be. I mean, we pretty much assume and everyone has reported that it's going to be about like Belly and Conrad finally getting married, but we didn't finally.02:10Speaker 2 Everyone's like, well, when will those crazy kids get married?02:13Speaker 3 Honestly like sitting on the shelf at this point. But I do think they're going to be about twenty five. But the first onset photos came out over the weekend. They've gotten back to set and while they were incredibly grainy and blurry and they were kind of like pat photos or fan photos taken on phones, they're all out on a boat on the lake.02:29Speaker 1 It's very the summer return pretty.02:31Speaker 3 Yes, what you can see is that Belly has a big diamond ring on her left ring finger.02:37Speaker 2 Okay, people have not handled these photos well in a mature way. Everyone has been pretty nasty, pretty crazy because the ring, as we all remember, if you can even call her that, that was given to Belly by Jeremiah in the show was so small that you literally couldn't see it. Even when she held it up in front of your face, you could not see it. We put it on socials and we had to.02:58Speaker 3 Draw a circle around it, the tiny little diamond.03:01Speaker 2 From that point, poor Jenny Hahn, the writer of the books and creator of the TV series and showrunner and all these things, This talented, creative, brilliant woman then gave up her precious time to go on oppressed tour to do interviews so that fans could ask her questions about the show. And all that woman got asked was what was that tiny ring? Was that meant to be a joke? And that poor woman had to answer over and over again. No, it wasn't meant to be a joke. We just thought, like, he doesn't have any money, so of course you'd have a small ring. It's just the way that belly held it up so defiantly to show the family and then you couldn't see it, and you couldn't see it at all. Became such a running joke.03:36Speaker 3 Yes, and so even from a great distance on a boat in the middle of the high seas, you can see the ring that we can assume Conrad has given to her. So it's a Peconkin diamond, and I'm very excited about that because she does deserve it. And this is why you date the handsome doctor and not like the weird other brother. There were lots of reasons, but I do think this is one of them. The other big thing that has come out based on these photos is that Jeremiah our like sad single other.04:01Speaker 1 Hey.04:01Speaker 2 Hey, some of us were kind of quietly team Joremiah nick word team Jeremiah, and I don't understand why, but that's your business. He has his arm wrapped around a mystery blonde woman, so that, oh god, it's not that woman from who was that girl?04:13Speaker 1 I kind of friend.04:14Speaker 3 Yeah, So the whole season three subplot of him falling for the roommate and the roommate being a weird hater of Conrad that never.04:21Speaker 1 Sat well, Yeah, that just felt right. That was for nothing.04:23Speaker 3 It felt rushed, and it was for nothing because now he's on a boat with a woman who looks a little bit too much like his mother and he's got his arm around her and they look to be a couple. So wow, something to think about there, But we don't really know too much about what the film is about, but we do know that Jenny Hahn is directing. So she directed one of the episodes of the season three, which was episode five. Laura, I don't know how much you remember the summer I Turned pretty, but episode five was the one from Conrad's pov Oh the Apple.04:48Speaker 1 We hate the Apple, and he is in the white T shirt. Yeah, that song played wild Horses beautiful.04:52Speaker 3 VI.04:52Speaker 2 Wow, I just like, I feel like I just lost you for a second, just went off and I just got into.04:55Speaker 3 My Conrad's little like mind bubble. But she's going to direct the film, so she said, taking inspiration from Nora Efron. Oh great, so great person to take your inspiration from. You do have to wonder what like the traditional third actension is going to because I think the whole show was third actension and we don't need to see a mini breakup again. But I don't know, maybe Steven and the other one can have some drama.05:17Speaker 1 Yeah, I mean that's the thing. Isn't it to be able to make a movie like that.05:20Speaker 2 Yes, yes, you've got the wedding as the plot, but there's going to have to be some moment where you think they're not going to get married some sort of drama.05:26Speaker 1 You can't just have a wedding.05:27Speaker 3 No, But like at this point, it's been drama non stop for years.05:30Speaker 1 You go tired to Paris.05:31Speaker 3 She's like, actually, I'm going back to Paris, thank you so much. I'm leaving you again. That would be so boring. We can't do that.05:36Speaker 1 Do we know when this is coming out? Like, at least not until next.05:39Speaker 2 Year twenty twenty seven, twent

Good Morning Angels, Happy Monday. A brand new week is upon us, and what a weekend it was. I'm Ash London and I have been trawling through the celebrity news since dawn because I love you that much. Today and the Met Gala is hours away, and there is a ten million dollar controversy you need to know about before it kicks off. The Beckham family feud has hit a painful new low. Zane Malick is unwell and has canceled the entire US tour. Now The Devil was prior to two casts have already been teasing, well kind of teasing a third film, and The Rock got pulled over by police after celebrating Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. Happy Monday. Let's pull the tea Tonight is the Met Gala fashions the biggest night, and before the looks start rolling in, it would appear a certain controversy is reaching boiler point. This is honorary co chairs are lead financial sponsors Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez, who reportedly paid at least ten million dollars to take on the role alongside Beyonce Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and of course and a Winter. Tickets to the event are one hundred thousand dollars each, a table three hundred and fifty thousand. Buying your way in the uprationans of fashion presseless. The backlash has been significant. Posters reading boycott the Bezos and Metgala have been plastered across New York City, with criticciting Amazon's alleged compliance with ice work in mistreatment and the optics of a billionaire buying his way into fashion's most prestigious night. New York City's mayor has already announced he will skip it entirely, and a Winter has defended the decision, of course, but we can all see what's happening here. She's no doubt mortified by the whole situation, But ten million dollars in this economy is ten million dollars. Next up, the Beckham family saga continues, and at this point, well, it was already sad, but now it's just even sadder. So Dave I'd Beckham celebrated his fifty first birthday over the weekend. Victoria, Romeo, Cruzen Harper all posted warm tributes. Brooklyn posted nothing not a word, and he also stayed silent during Victoria's birthday last month. David's post was typically gracious, writing he felt lucky and blessed and I mentioned in Brooklyn Victoria gifted him chickens for the Cotswold estate, which is the most posh spice gift imaginable and I love them for it. If you've ever wondered what to give the man that has everything, chickens is the answer. Zaan Malik has now canceled his entire US leg of the Conical tour, and the news has understandably worried fans. Zam was hospitalized on the same day that his new album dropped on April seventeen, posting a photo of himself in a hospital gown without disclosing the nature of his illness. This week, he posted I've been in home, recovering and doing well and will be better and stronger than before, before announcing twenty one US shows have been axed, UK and Mexico dates remain for now. This comes on top of the counciled Netflix documentary with Lee Tomlinson and a genuinely turbulent few weeks. Whatever is going on healthwise, we hope he feels better soon when we return The Devil Wets prior of two carts have dropped hints about a third film. The Rock had a very embarrassing run in with the Law and the early two thousands boy band duet that we never knew but absolutely knew we needed has arrived. Welcome back to morning tea. Now. The film has only been incigmes three days and has already made two hundred and thirty four million dollars globally, and Meryl Streep and Hathaway and Emily Blunt have already been asked about what it would take to make a third Devil Wears prior film. Streep said, immediately the script. Blunt agreed, a good script. It's all about the script, and then Anne Hathaway added, everyone has to say yes. It's got to be the core four, three of them plus Stanley Tucci and Merril added one final condition. They have to be alive. I refuse to believe that Meryl Streep is seventy six. She will never die, she will live forever. Amen. The Rock attended Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucciy's Hollywood or Fame ceremony on Thursday, delivered a heartfelt speech, then got pulled over by police on the way home for tinted windows on his Porsche KM. He stepped out calmly in a crisp white shirt and cream trousers, handed over his license and registration and was issued a ticket. Kevin Hart immediately told Paparrizzi he was the one who called the police before clarifying it was a joke and called the rock a piece of shit for good measure, nothing like a couple of mates ripping each other and finally something for the og boy band fans. En Sync member Joey Fortone was performing at a gala off at the Kentucky Derby of the weekend and invited to the stage bandmate Lamps Bass, Backstreets, Howie and Brian and even Despisido singer Lewis Fonsi. Who Joey fotone you in high school? They performed a bit of a medley I wanted that way and bye bye bye from Endzinc. It's too much. I can't handle it. Millennials, Hey feeling and that is it for me.
