Chris needs to read “Ego is the Enemy” by Ryan Holiday. His entire podcast reflects - an unhealthy belief in our own importance, marked by arrogance, self-centeredness, delusion, and a constant need for validation. It prioritizes self-image over substance—talking big while avoiding hard, consistent effort; seeking applause instead of mastery; or crumbling under criticism instead of improving. Ego here shows up as overconfidence, excessive talking about plans without action, craving early recognition, and resisting feedback or grunt work.
