Asking For It Introduces: The Heart: SISTERS
The Heart is an audio art project about power and love. From CBC Podcasts, Mermaid Palace and Radiotopia. SISTERS is a 5 episode series that follows the journey of an older and younger sister from birth to adulthood. Natalie and Kaitlin went from being childhood rivals to being best friends. When the sisters decide to work together to create the very podcast series you are about to listen to, they face challenges they never anticipated. Sibling rivalry, mental health struggles and the daunting task of creating an audio series about it all: can these women overcome the patterns they learned in childhood and live in harmony as adults? Eye opening
As a straight woman, this story opened my eyes to the fact that queer relationships have absolutely similar dynamics as straight relationships.
Self discovery, love of the arts, jealousy , possessiveness, survival, boundaries..and the list goes on.
The narrator’s are incredibly talented where I found myself enveloped into each and every character, like was there , watching.
This podcast left me craving for more of this story . Will there be more episodes …ever?
Unique!
There are no podcasts like this one. Shadows was also amazing but asking for it is something unlike anything in existence. Kaitlin is amazing! And her team.
