My fave wedding podcast
I love jordannas interesting takes and Nicole’s fun loving attitude. Great hosts and pod
I really wish they would just call this podcast what it is - it’s for rich girls planning a luxury wedding with no real budget. They may mentions “budgets” (although I doubt either of them really have one for their wedding based on the guests they bring on and what they consider “essential”). Their vendors and suggestions are so unaffordable and out of touch with what regular working women are looking for in their wedding - the fact that Louboutins are suggested for a comfortable wedding shoe?! So out of touch. This podcast is not relatable for an average woman planning a wedding, but it’s a good way to feel badly about your wedding and what you can afford!
It’s hard to imagine a more obnoxious host for a podcast than Nicole in particular… She is always interrupting people, privileges her own voice and opinion over everything and seems to think she is the center of the universe. I have tried so much with this podcast to give her a chance and recognize this is just her personality but sometimes it’s just too much. And for her to appropriate the sacred wedding traditions of other cultures/traditions for her own wedding for no reason other than “aesthetic” or photos, that’s really when this is too much. If planning a luxury wedding where nothing is out of budget is a personality for you, then this may be a great podcast for you! Otherwise, you can find a much more relatable and realistic wedding podcast to get you through this exciting time.
Love this as a 2022 bride for all the tips and advice in planning!
