How smart is the smart kitchen, really?
The Verge’s Jennifer Pattison Tuohy has as smart a kitchen as any reasonable person possibly could; she has smart appliances, a smart sink, a smart fridge, and more voice assistants than anyone could ever talk to. And for a few days, she tried to let her kitchen do the work: telling her what to cook, getting everything set up just right, and even taking some of the cooking and cleaning load off her shoulders. Jen kept a diary during her adventures, and then joined The Vergecast to tell the tale. The fun, frustrating, exciting, harrowing tale.

Customer Reviews
Alex Cranz is my favourite podcaster!
I’ve listened to Vergecast for many years and I’ve appreciated all the people that are there and the ones that have left. But hands down, Alex is my favourite so far! She is the funniest person who’s been there and brings the best kind of energy absolutely needed in every podcast!
Great show, not perfect but still the best.
I love David Pierce always thoughtful, and Richard Lawler too (and quite funny in is own way)!
Alex Cranz is a hit or miss. Something she gives relevant comments, sometimes… not really.
Nilay… you like him or hate him. I happen to like him but I would understand if someone would not enjoy his attitude.
All in all, I tried to listen to other tech podcasts(mkbhd, Engadget, wired and probably 1-2 more), but this one is still the best.
Used to be Great
I used to really enjoy this show back when had balanced, thoughtful hosts. Now it’s just Nilay bragging about how he’s such a great boss and some other childish hosts who are too afraid to challenge him.
