Great during the week
23 Sept
Such a shame that the current government are being given such a soft ride. Early days admittedly and not following much of an administration for the past few years, but Paddy could not be MORE of a rabid Labour supporter if he tried. Appalling favouritism
Justice Denied
12 Dec
What’s most disappointing (apart from the Tory pandering) about journalism these days is the complete lack of research and factual information. Alex Chalk and the other 11 justice secretaries we’ve had since 2010 have systematically destroyed the CJS/YJS by refusing to listen to the evidence of what works and underfunding courts, legal aid, probation, YOTs and prisons to the point of collapse. The private sector has made trillions in this time. The court backlog was unmanageable long before covid and the entire physical estate is almost beyond repair now following the lack of maintenance since the early 90s. The declining education system has allowed the right wing media to create a narrative that enables this approach. Labour have no meaningful vision for what a better society or functioning justice system should look like. This is what we must focus on!
Death bill

This is not about MPs this is about the people to whom they are representing I want the bill to be passed AND if it requires a national vote then so be it This is people vote so any politician must not think this about their view Listen to your constituents and hear the voices of terminally vulnerable Everyone has the right to choose how they wish to die Thank you
