Hardcore Literature

Wow, about one month ago I found myself writing my personal statement to send off to uni for when I apply for English Literature, and beyond read, thinking, investigating their is only so much I can say I do with a book, and the truth is I’m 16 and a normal person I’m trying my hardest but I don’t understand half the stuff a literature scholar would, I don’t understand the bard or the poetry of John Donne but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. And listening to this podcast changed my whole outlook on prose, it helps me understand so much about my passion and the books I am too frightened to pick up, whatever I love this podcast I listen to it in the morning before school, when I return form school, in the evenings on my weekends and everywhere I go their is so much I’ve listened to since I’ve discovered it and I love it dearly. The man who creates these podcasts must be a genius, or just a genius in literature.

Benjamin single handedly got me hooked on classic literature.

Benjamin is the one of the greatest guys I’ve found to discuss not only literature but life in general. Would be lost without these and his fantastic YouTube channel!

I’ve been following this podcast and its sister YT channel for over a year and have learnt so much from it. Ben has a way of talking about literature that really engages, without being too academic or talking down to you.
