ART FICTIONS

I look forward to listening to the Art Fictions podcast. I love hearing artists talk about their work and learning about their motivations and processes, and having the added bonus of the discussion around a book of their choice makes it even more interesting. Jillian is a brilliant host, so engaging, funny and supportive and welcoming to her guests, her passion for art is tangible. The in depth discussions are always fascinating and I’ve learnt so much and discovered many books and artists. It’s a wonderful and inspiring thing to listen to while painting in the studio 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars!

Thoroughly enjoyed this all-encompassing conversation between Elizabeth Fullerton and Lindsay Seers, which provided such great insight into Seers’ fascinating practice and wide-ranging references. Listened twice as it was so rich and enjoyable - a really great dialogue. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the episodes.

I adore Lindsay’s Seer’s work but one often leaves her exhibitions with a head full of questions one might like to put to the artist. So it was fantastic to hear Elizabeth Fullerton so ably hosting a this discussion with Lindsay on her multifaceted works as seen through the prism of her chosen book “Riddley Walker,” also a work of many threads. I’m so pleased to have discovered Art Fictions as I love the whole idea of artists discussing their works through books.
