Covert narcissists are often found partaking in parental alienation as a form of manipulation and control over their former partner and joint children. Parental alienation is now recognised by legal systems in many parts of the world and taken into account in custody battles. Narcissistic Collapse will occur throughout a narcissist’s lifetime on various occasions when their narcissism fails to achieve its agendas on multiple fronts and supply levels are very low. Narcissists can suffer mini collapses and major and final collapses in the majority as a result of their past and present behaviours coming back to haunt them. Too often narcissists act in the moment without looking at the long term consequences of poor decisions. It is important to be aware of how genuine the narcissist will appear during these collapses to prevent yourself being drawn back in to partake in their behaviour cycle once again, negatively impacting your own life. This podcast suggests ways both to recognize narcissistic collapse and how to navigate such occurrences.

A relationship with a covert narcissist will bring a narcissist’s primary supply target as close to a living hell psychologically, spiritually, emotionally and physically as it is possible to go in terms of human relationships.
