As an Englishman, listening to Welsh rugby analysis at its best is a joy. GRO and Lauren Salter set the tone and speak with energy and enthusiasm about Welsh rugby, the players the fans and community. It’s a quality production, but also real, not too shiny and the odd parochial approach is balanced with progressive attitudes. If you haven’t tried Scrum V, do it. It’s worth getting into.

Love listening to GRO, he speaks with such passion and enthusiasm, Hooky and his insights are always interesting. They have a good range of guests. One thing they need to change is drop Alex Cuthbert and bring in Scott Baldwin more regularly, Cuthy offers very little other than taking about himself and repeating the word “obviously” in every sentence. Cuthy sounds unenthusiastic and is quite dull to listen to but Scott, on the other hand, brings the passion and knowledge of how the game is played and explains all the nuances of the game very well, he is a joy to listen to.

Am I the only one that once again feel the journalistic efforts of GRO are a disgrace. We face Fiji in a telling test match hoping to continue our winning form, and instead of supporting the boys, and putting positive energies out there for them and us all to focus on, what does he decide is good to do??? Focus on the disastrous loss in the 2007 World Cup. This guys only focus towards Wales rugby in my experience is to do everything he can to sensationalise all the negativity and sell his journalism in what has to be the worst possible way for Welsh rugby. Please get him gone and leave the podcast in the hands of the rest of the scrum V team who actually share the fans love and support for our Beloved Wales.
