How to Lose a Guy ep was a mess

I usually love this podcast but feel compelled to say the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days ep was an incoherent mess :( Caroline did her best to try to keep on topic but the guest seemed set on spending the entire time talking about how much she disliked Matthew McConaughey. Maybe it got better, but after 30 mins I had to give up. It didn’t feel in keeping with the point of the podcast. Anyway, I’m giving 5 stars despite this one as I’ve loved all the other eps I’ve listened to. Perhaps the guest should have chosen a film she actually liked. A shame, as I love the film and was looking forward to the discussion.

Alanis Morissette episode

Great chat about Jagged Little Pill. I’m fairly new to the podcast and really enjoyed this episode and the one about Enya as well as a couple of non-music themed episodes. My only issue, as mentioned by others, is that the sound is wildly varied and desperately in need of compression or something like that to bring the loudest and quietest bits towards a mid-range volume. Especially in the Alanis episode I would turn up my car stereo to hear the most poignant and eloquent observations only to be deafened moments later by shrieks of laughter!
