Two great freinds make a amazing podcast
The two hosts are great freinds and you can tell by the way they interact with each other. I like the setup of two diffrent stories one long and one short. I also like the way the topics vary. I dont know of many Uk orientated true crime podcasts that are setup like this with two freinds chatting. Most of the Uk based ones tend to be quite linear and factual the entire way through.
Refreshing
I came to this podcast late. More than anything else it was the fact that Rob and Nadine never, ever brought their own political persuasions to the subscriber as unfortunately so many other independents do. And for that alone I unequivocally recommend this podcast to any true crime enthusiast. That said, the variety offered is outstanding. The historical cases are a revelation. But Rob’s storytelling is exceptional and unfortunately for me, compels me to listen to the next cast despite needing to be up early the next morning. Since Nadine had to leave the show, I think Rob has tried to hard to compensate. My advice mate would be to stick what you do best. Telling us a story!
Unpretentious & entertaining
I’ve come to really love this podcast. It’s unpretentious and the presenters are really likeable. To echo other reviews, stories are well picked and told in a balanced way.
