Great show!

A really good show, so interesting. I feel like I’m watching a documentary series not listening to a podcast.
My only negative comment is how frequent the adverts are... considering how short the episodes are, they feel full of adverts!

Baffling

I’m so confused at this podcast. I actually really enjoyed it up until around episode 23, which is pretty much where the official episodes ended. I didn’t bother with q&a episodes or case evidence (although 07.10.17) is essential to understanding episode 23 and is important to the case so I went back and listened to that one)

As others have said, episode 19 stands out as the low point of the podcast and is just bizarre how the host seems to have such a personal grudge against the person he’s speaking too. It’s really unprofessional and left me shaking my head at his behaviour.

However, I really enjoyed the detail of the general episodes and rewound many times as I felt almost every sentence was important.

My disappointment comes from the ending. Payne just suddenly disappears and then after such concise episodes throughout, it just fizzles out into very dull explanations of legal proceedings and how they work going forward. I thought the trial episodes were going to get back into it again but it just kind of ends without any conclusion. I’ve had to since google to find out what the hell happened. Really strange and has completely tarnished what was set to be one of my favourites. It’s now put me off recommending to anyone.

(P.S - I can confirm there are too many adverts)

Inconsistent quality

I’m on episode 7 and finding recent episodes really irritating with poor sound quality and endless monologues from people off their heads talking crap. Zero editing, just filling up as much airspace as possible with absolutely everything they recorded anyone saying. Confusing, poor quality but compulsively i want to hear the rest as it started pretty well. Fingers crossed it rallies toward the end...
