"I feel my life just drifting away"

"I feel my life just drifting away"

Roddy-James Rodriguez is just one of the hundreds of students on campus, who give up on life each year, and attempt suicide.

The mental health crisis isn't new, and it isn't going away. And while schools are scrambling to beef up their support staff and resources, the reality is, the system is failing students.

Roddy's struggle with depression is rooted in years of neglect, abandonment, and self-hate. Throughout his entire life, he was failed by pretty much everyone -- his schools, his community, and even his own family.

The Dreamers Podcast

I cannot express how much "The Dreamers" podcast emotionally moved me and how timely these diverse counternarratives are during a very scary time for (immigrant) students and their families in this country. Please continue to Center underserved and underrepresented voices so that biased dominant discourses and practices surrounding undocumented migration (communities) in the U.S. can be disrupted and humanized! Thank You! In Solidarity!

Great Show!

I love this podcast! Well produced and thoughtful stories. I especially loved the episode about the musician.

Plus I love how the radio host is Asian. You definitely don’t see enough minorities on radio.

Liked this before the last episode

This was a good podcast until the last episode. The first women in this podcast is the reason why Trump won. Do you think you could do a podcast on the people that supported Trump?
