The Tottenham Way

I enjoy the pod and appreciate the balance between fandom and journalism. However, the volume disparity between the pod and the ads makes it borderline unlistenable. Please boost the pod volume or turn down the ads. Thanks!

Started listening to this pod over the summer. Smart, interesting and apparently informed chat - and I immediately added it to my Spurs content follows. Now Marcus is back and the whole tone of the pod has changed. He’s eternally annoyed about the most trivial things. On today’s pod, without irony he decided to complain about the lack of positivity in the fan base, then the pronunciation of Lucas Bergvall’s name. Grumpy is not a great listen.

This and VFTL are by far the best two Spurs-related podcasts. This one maybe tends to be a bit optimistic… but that’s ok.

The conversations can be insightful, but personally I’m at a point where Marcus’s complaining has just become too much. He’s entitled his opinion as a longtime supporter but the moaning is constant and seemingly blind to the scores of other clubs that would gladly swap situations with Tottenham. Until the tone of the conversations moderates a bit, I need a break from TTW.
