Right

Matthew’s constant use of the word right is distracting. I realize it’s just a tic, but it sounds as if he’s asking the listeners to ratify his every thought.
Smart people though.

A Decent Conversation...

Clearly on the left. Mostly an interesting discussion, though I wish there would be a little less abstract political chatter and more meaningful policy analysis. Though I enjoy his thoughts and perspective, Matthew needs to turn it down a notch and slow down; he can sometimes come across as overly excited and difficult to follow.

Arabodoptis is Fake News ,

Vox: intellectual and politically unfocused.

Hosts & guests are very knowledgeable about the topics they address but it sometimes becomes confusing to follow a narrative that doesn’t adhere to a particular ideological perspective.

I sometimes end episodes feeling like I’ve heard a lot but not in a way that’s easy to synthesize.

Having an immutable perspective is bad for this kind of show but knowing where you stand is actually useful.
