Neon Brainiacs is a retro horror movie podcast with hosts and independent filmmakers Ben and Lance (and former co-host Gregg). Your heroes break down the movie's plot, remember the good times, and get lost in plenty of humorous diversions. From fan-favorite films to obscure deep cuts of the '70s, '80, '90s, and 2000s, no stone is left unturned regarding retro horror movies.

I enjoy what these guys are throwing out. My sense of humor is similar to the hosts so I like the recurring bits and call backs. Freezerinos For Life!
Just Discovered, Really Enjoying

I think I’ve gone through every horror movie podcast. Not sure how I’m just finding this one, but I’m really enjoying it. The later episodes can drag at the beginning with too much rambling and the guy who tries to talk like Anthony Jeselnik can be annoying. Not sure if it is a bit or what. The Jason Takes Manhattan episode is amazing.

The discussion of Prince of Darkness was not very insightful, yet it was funny, esp. the impression of Pleasence. Now comes the confusion: after an hour of joking about many failures in this film, they rank it as 8/10 and 10/10. Hey maybe it’s an ok mood piece for some folks, but in its disjointed drivel and pretensions, unconvincing stakes, and lack of character motivation, it comes off as just a Neil Breen “film” with better financing.
7th grade humor

Just because you have a mouth and live in a permanent state of junior high toilet humor, does not mean one should have a podcast. A collection of idiots who are actually doing a disservice to these films.
