Ep 598: Melissa Aellen, Linganore Winecellars, Winery Fingerprint Series, Part 6

If you work at a winery, a producer group or region, register for book updates and be the first to hear about live events at www.interpretingwine.com/wf2026  Today's conversation features Melissa Aellen, Linganore Winecellars. Melissa is my first ever guest from Maryland, a US state with over 80 wineries.  Linganore Winecellars are the largest producer in the state. Sitting on 230 acres of rolling countryside, with 80 acres under vine, producing over 30 grape, fruit, and honey wines. This conversation leans into discovery, which makes sense as I am yet to visit Maryland.  But this didn't hold us back. As Melissa and I were ultimately able to develop a powerful winery fingerprint, which she is keen to test within the local community. How did we do? How did we get there? Listen on to find out.
