I will post something later on misogyny, but for now, Jonathan please stop saying “and what not” — it doesn’t belong in a scholarly conversation. I’m surprised you don’t see this.

Used to listen but stopped due to Iona Italian’s insipid delivery. From the other reviews, I see that I’m not the only one.

I’ve always enjoyed Quillette, but they’ve recently erected quite a paywall, to the point where the free content isn’t enough to bother with; it amounts to extended ads, basically. I’d consider paying, but there’s just too much other free or ad-supported content that is of comparable quality.

This would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the addition of Iona Italia as a host. I haven’t made it through a single one of her episodes. She needs serious help with interviewing skills, editing, and sound production. Even then, I’m afraid she just has a voice for print. I absolutely love Jon Kay - he’s an excellent interviewer and his episodes are always very engaging.
