Excellent podcast from a unique perspective- that of British members of the Branch Davidians at Waco (or surviving family). Creator includes a lot of primary source material from the time of these events as well as more recent interviews with members’ families & friends, non-Davidian Waco residents & journalists. Chris Warburton is an amazing interviewer-sensitive and empathetic but also asks the hard questions. I’m so thankful for all of the survivors who told their story and those of loved ones. Potential listeners should be aware that podcast contains some commentary by Waco survivors who are still allied with the Branch Davidians &/or their teachings, & who appear to defend Koresh. I appreciated that these views were included, but survivors of high control religious groups might find their comments triggering.

BBC podcasts never disappoint. This show is thorough, informative, and enjoyable (for lack of a better word considering the upsetting subject matter). I was quite young when the siege of Waco happened and I have always been curious to learn more about the motivations behind the cult as well as the siege. This podcast really gives an insider look at the British perspective.

Good to hear the perspective from the British survivors and families of the 30 deceased citizens. The Waco tragedy still resonates 30 years later 🙏
