    If you haven't surfed for a long time. These are some of the things that I do when I haven't surfed for a couple of weeks or months. This is something that happens to everybody and it's so important that you enjoy your first session back into the ocean and get into this positive spiral instead of feeling like you've unlearned all the things you've worked so hard for or you're just not fit enough. I've seen many surfers who go back into surfing and get turned off by the fact that they're not in the same level and have too big of a challenge during the first sessions back, which totally ruins their excitement for the upcoming sessions.
