Consider Before Consuming
Think about all of the things you consider every day to help keep yourself, your loved ones, and your community happy, healthy, and hopeful. Now consider this: There is an ever-growing body of research demonstrating significant negative impacts, for yourself and the ones you love, in the consumption of pornography. It can change the way you think, harm your ability to connect with other people, and can contribute to changing the world in negative ways. Join us every other week as we consider the harmful effects of pornography using science, facts, and personal accounts. Consider Before Consuming is brought to you by Fight the New Drug (FTND). FTND is a non-religious and non-legislative nonprofit that aims to raise awareness on the harmful effects of pornography and its links to sexual exploitation using only science, facts, and personal accounts. Fight the New Drug collaborates with a variety of qualified organizations and individuals with varying personal beliefs, affiliations, and political persuasions. As FTND is a non-religious and non-legislative organization, the personal beliefs, affiliations, and persuasions of any of our team members or of those we collaborate with do not reflect or impact the mission of Fight the New Drug.

I always learn new things. You are doing such good work. However learn how to pronounce "important ". There are two "t's" in the word. It is very distracting.
Great podcast for a very widespread and important issue

Almost everyone encounters pornography these days. And porn warps our sense of humanity for each other, our understanding of what is a healthy relationship, gives us cycles of shame and bad feelings about ourselves and false perceptions of what is important in another human in almost every situation and encounter we have in life. Fight the new drug is a great antidote and educational resource for all of this. It gives us info on how immediately and ultimately abusive porn is to ourselves and to others we then see in shallow and unreal ways. It offers tools to manage shame. It shows us we’re not alone and not bad people. It gives tools and encouragement to change for anyone. I’ve listened to quite a few of the podcasts and it’s really been worth it in so many ways. I highly recommend this site for anyone who wants to be a better person- because even if they don’t use porn they can understand and help people who do.
Informative & Unafraid

This podcast doesn’t shy away from the hard topics. They have a diverse range of guests to give the listener a broad view of the many sides to pornography. They ask really good questions of their guests to get the full picture and aren’t afraid of the answers.
Amazing!!

As a former porn consumer and addict, the work of FTND is incredible. This podcast is great in how they bring on so many amazing guests to dive deeper into the topic.
