    391. How to Stay Grounded When Life Feels Overwhelming!

How do you stay grounded when life feels beautiful and hard at the same time? Because if we're honest, this season has held both. There has been so much joy, so much laughter, so many moments we never want to forget. And there have also been tears, uncertainty, overstimulation, and the reality of walking through something we never would have chosen. In this episode, we're talking about how we want to show up in seasons like these. How do we keep our hearts soft instead of becoming bitter? How do we stay open to the miracles, the goodness, and the love that are still right in front of us? How do we create a beautiful life even when life isn't going according to plan? We share some of what we're learning about intention, presence, grief, gratitude, and why we believe you can still have a magical summer—even if life feels messy right now. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, emotional, or like life is moving faster than you can keep up with, we hope this conversation feels like sitting on the porch with friends. Why hard seasons don't have to steal your joy The difference between reacting to life and creating it on purpose What our recent family staycation taught us about presence How to soften instead of harden when life feels unfair Learning to feel your emotions without getting stuck in them Why intentionality changes your experience of life Preparing your heart for the season you're entering Finding beauty, connection, and meaning in ordinary moments How we're thinking about the months ahead as a family Creating your most magical summer—no matter what life brings ✨ Join us for our FREE workshop: Your Most Magical Summer ediewadsworthcoaching.com/summer   Edie's Favorite Summer Mug (Anthropologie)https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/hybrid/luanne-stoneware-mug?color=075&inventoryCountry=US&countryCode=US&creative=&device=c&g_acctid=619-693-8226&g_adgroupid=&g_adid=&g_adtype=none&g_campaign=US+-+Shopping+-+PMAX+-+LIAs+-+Home+-+G%26E+-+General&g_campaignid=22326114420&g_keyword=&g_keywordid=&g_network=x&g_type=shopping&matchtype=&network=x&utm_campaign=US+-+Shopping+-+PMAX+-+LIAs+-+Home+-+G%26E+-+General&utm_content=&utm_kxconfid=vx6rd81ts&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_source=Google&utm_term=&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22326128103&gbraid=0AAAAADnwqi7V3OAP6tZnW9DRIQ4L6Iybs&gclid=Cj0KCQjwof_QBhCgARIsADaMzOdw7i1ZQOjUmG5yh0kJJ-FkUGsFlheAxrjsqGzynrBbuRORs8_TTFwaApXdEALw_wcB  Bronzing Stick & Highlighter (Opicola)https://opiccola.com/products/bronze-glow-balm?variant=48390013321371   Sourdough Discard Pita Bread Recipehttps://enwnutrition.com/sourdough-discard-pita-bread/  In This Episode We Talk About:Resources MentionedFavorite Things Learn more about your ad choices. 389. The Voice in Your Head Is Shaping Your Life!

Today we’re talking about the voice in your head — that constant inner dialogue that most of us hardly even notice anymore. The criticism. The pressure. The negativity. The harshness we often direct toward ourselves without realizing how deeply it affects the way we experience our lives… and the people around us. One of the things we talk about in this episode is how our thoughts become the emotional atmosphere we live in. And not only that — they spill over into our homes, our marriages, our friendships, and the way our children learn to think about themselves too. This isn’t about shame or “fixing yourself.” It’s about becoming aware with compassion. It’s about noticing the patterns that no longer serve you and learning how to renew your mind with more grace, gratitude, truth, and peace. We also talk about: why negative thinking becomes so automatic how criticism toward others often reflects criticism toward ourselves the emotional “tone” we bring into a room motherhood, nervous systems, and emotional regulation practical ways to shift your mindset why gratitude changes everything learning to agree with God about who you are This one feels deeply important and deeply hopeful. You are not stuck with the voice in your head. You can practice a gentler, truer way of living. We love you so much and are so grateful you’re here. ✨ Learn more about your ad choices.
