    47. Tedeschi Trucks Band's The Fireside Sessions, Episode 3 Recap

    47. Tedeschi Trucks Band's The Fireside Sessions, Episode 3 Recap

"Tedeschi Trucks Band is proud to present The Fireside Sessions, a six-episode series of home performances to share TTB music with fans safely until we can get back on the road again." And for episode three, the stripped down lineup was just Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. It was a very special and intimate performance, which even included Derek talking a good amount to us the audience. And for this recap, I again recorded me talking in a livestream chat in the private TTB Fans group on Facebook, immediately following TTB's performance.

    46. Tedeschi Trucks Band's The Fireside Sessions, Episode 2 Recap

"Tedeschi Trucks Band is proud to present The Fireside Sessions, a six-episode series of home performances to share TTB music with fans safely until we can get back on the road again." And for episode two, the stripped down lineup was Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Brandon Boone, Tyler "Falcon" Greenwell, Gabe Dixon, and Mike Mattison. The band, the audio quality, the video quality, and the overall presentation of The Fireside Sessions is just superb. And for this recap, I actually recorded me talking in a livestream chat in the private TTB Fans group on Facebook. Thanks to the admins of that page and all the other fans (mostly addressed by first name in this episode) for participating!

    44. Alina Harmash Talks Photography and Her Love For Susan Tedeschi

    44. Alina Harmash Talks Photography and Her Love For Susan Tedeschi

Photographer Alina Harmash grew up in Southern Ukraine and now resides in the capital city of Kiev, and this overseas Susan Tedeschi and Tedeschi Trucks Band fan tells me all about the musical and artistic influence of her family, and also how really all of her life's most important decisions have actually centered around music. She loves all things Sweden and studied the language and culture, but it was in Copenhagen, and really later in London where Alina had her most profound TTB experience, getting her first opportunity to shoot photos of the band.

    43. Greg Martens Talks TipJar Society, TTB, and His Friend, James Ricker

Entrepreneur, fundraiser, and music merchandiser, Greg Martens is here to talk about a new venture, TipJar Society, a platform for musicians, artists, and content creators to engage their audience via streaming live or on-demand video, subscriptions, merchandising, and other creative marketing options, while keeping all rights and integrity of their content. And the launch of this is going to be the "Love The One Your With" Valentine's Day Launch Party, Sunday Feb 14 at 5pm ET. And as he elaborates, not only will there be tons of music, including a recorded performance from Tedeschi Trucks Band’s MIke Mattison with Scrapomatic, this event is also a fundraiser for Greg's dear friend James Ricker, and also Go Big For Hunger.

    42. Jeff Wood Talks Creating Posters For Tedeschi Trucks Band

    42. Jeff Wood Talks Creating Posters For Tedeschi Trucks Band

Per his Instragram page Jeff Wood is a poster artist, painter, screenprinter, beadworker, and a tiny blip on the cosmic radar. He’s created so much wonderful artwork over the years for Derek, Susan, TTB, Gov't Mule, Widespread Panic, and beyond. His career is super impressive, and perhaps just as great is how much admiration Jeff has for all the visual artists before him, the music of TTB, other bands, and of course for the musicians themselves. We cover a lot, including Mr. Wood’s personal connection to Native culture / history, High Times magazine, and much more.

Tedeschi Trucks interviews

I’ve listened to 5 of 6 interviews. It’s so fun putting a voice with a name. I loved hearing Josh, Sean and David talking. It’s really fun to hear fellow fans chat it up!

Great interviewer, but some of the guests were iffy

Great format and great podcast, but the most recent interview features a racist. Can’t get behind that at all. Other than that, interviewer is great.

Informative, insightful, and just very cool

Hats off to Adam for taking on such a task of documenting the story behind this legendary band. His episodes so far include interviews with dedicated fans, people in the industry, and a professional musician. Adam has collectively captured how these people, from different walks of life, share the same respect and passion for TTB. You can hear and feel Adams passion as well as he hosts the show from his home studio(?) which sometimes comes across a little kooky but with a disclaimer that he is “just a fan”. I’m eagerly hoping he dives into topics such as the early Revelator years with Oteil, The Mad Dog show, Bonnaroo 14 late night jam, the creation of WOS, Europe/Japan tour experiences, the unforgettable loss of Kofi, and the amazing Trey/Layla shows last summer. So many topics that will help document the past ten year history of this amazing band. I highly recommend listen to this podcast. Enjoy the show...
