The hubs and I both have taken FPU married 25 years but have taken the class separate at times. We both knew how to work the steps. However, the PLAN DOES NOT WORK WHEN YOUR MARRIED AND YIUR NOT ON THE SAME PAGE! So we were stupid, have the money, but didn’t know where it was going! Today, we are finally on the same page financially and are CRUSHING OUR DEBT!! Thank you so much!

What the heck happened to this country? Who the heck makes $400k/yr, with $400k annual bonus, AND has that much in debt?! My wife and I haven’t cracked $100k/yr, nor EVER gotten bonuses, other than an annual employee dinner. Yet we still managed to amass $2mil in assets within the last 25 years. They should use this show to track down these idiots who’ve been paid WAY too much, and literally blown through their $500k BONUS, and redistribute that to fund five of the callers who don’t make that in SALARY over 5 years. Because it’s just shameful that these people get that money in the first place, then blow it!!! They don’t even pay off their debt!! What has happened in this country? For my own mental health, after 20+ years of listening to this show, I’m done. Between Dave going off the rails, being horribly rude to vulnerable people, to learning how many stupid people are being paid unjustly more than good people who are trying so hard, I’ve seriously become clinically depressed and angry just from this show alone.

I do feel bad for the callers but I’m glad it’s not me. I’ve made plenty of mistakes though. Misery loves company!
