Best show ever

Very distasteful to say “I’m managing money for God”. Please don’t water down Christianity by bringing politics into it and comparing someone asking if owning a rental portfolio is ethical to communism. The two are not a comparison. If the Ramseys and the network is Christian based, keep it about how we manage our money is a reflection of our faith.

Ken gave Lynn bad advice by telling her the prenup should be dissolved. Both her and her new husband were newly married, of later age (early and late fifties), and she brought almost 2 million into the marriage while his contribution was quite low ($150k). Lynn needed to protect herself since both had been divorced before. His words about her being a Ramsey hypocrite seemed like a power play to get a hold of her money at a later time. Divorced couples have a high likelihood of divorcing again. Lynn needs to protect herself.

Gentlemen, is Dave paying royalties for that outburst! I did laugh, but come on…forget about it!

The highlights are a good way to hear show blurbs every day without listening to the whole thing. Ken is awesome in the career stuff- he’s helped me leave my toxic workplace. But recently he gotten really into analyzing callers psychologically (Delony is better at this🙂) and it’s too much. Love the show!

Followed this podcast thinking it would feature Dave Ramsey front and center. Instead it’s a bunch of people I’ve never heard of giving advice of mixed quality. This really dilutes the Dave Ramsey brand.

I very much admire that Dave has not been afraid to step in to politics in a thoughtful rational way as it relates to finances. I’m going to play for my children his explanation on why he has voted in every election since he was 18 and how he makes his decision who to vote for.

This show has become more like The 500 Club than a financial show. Listened since 2016, had to cut it off. Everything and everyone is bringing in politics and opinions. It’s nauseating.

I’ve been listening to Dave for years and my husband and I use his advice. I have listened to Dave rants in good humor and I don’t agree with his veiled political affiliations. It’s clear which way he leans but he doesn’t say it outright. That being said I’m fine with it. BUT, recently he went on a rant and about taxes and said people who vote “wrong” should be ashamed of themselves. Money is not everything and political issues around taxes are complex in my opinion. This particular rant finally offended me and I’m taking a break from his podcast. I’ll probably circle back in time because the advice and stories are inspiring. I’m not ashamed of myself but I am disappointed today. Dave’s welcome to his opinions but the rant was in bad taste for a person who is rich in not only money but wisdom and who helps so many people.

They put the dumbest people on this show and give the most basic advice: work harder and pay off your debt. That’s the entire show. Plus religious nonsense and MAGA nonsense. You’re welcome.
