7 Signs You've Outgrown Your Current Way of Working (The Before Picture)

272 - In this episode, I'm sharing seven signs that you've outgrown your current way of working. Maybe you've been feeling more drained than energized. Maybe work that used to feel meaningful doesn't anymore. Or maybe you've simply been sensing that the way you've been working no longer fits the life you're trying to build. This isn't about making a rash career move or quitting your job tomorrow. It's about paying attention to what your life, energy, and values might be trying to tell you. Before you can intentionally design work that fits who you are today, you first have to recognize what's no longer working. Think of this episode as the "before" picture. I'd love your help. I'm currently designing a new Career Alignment program, and I'm looking to have a handful of short Career Alignment Conversations with people who feel like they've outgrown their current way of working. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear your story. Your insights will help me create something that's genuinely useful for people navigating this season. You can schedule a conversation here: https://tidycal.com/angbarnard/career-alignment-conversation Thank you so much for being part of this process. The One Thing That Helps You Stop Feeling Behind All the Time

269- Maybe you've been craving more peace, more joy, or just a little less chaos in your day-to-day life. But instead of feeling calm and clear, you feel like you're constantly trying to keep up. There are always dishes to do, emails to answer, errands to run, meals to plan, goals to chase, and somehow you're supposed to remember all of it while also being present for the people you love. If you're ambitious, you probably have a list of things you'd like to improve too. Your health. Your finances. Your home. Your business. Your relationships. And while it's easy to assume the answer is more discipline, more motivation, or better time management, what if the real solution is something much simpler? A system. In this episode, I'm sharing a story that reminded me just how important systems are and why they might be one of the most overlooked keys to creating more peace, joy, and freedom in our lives. Because anything we do repeatedly deserves a system. And when we don't have one, we end up carrying the mental load ourselves. In this episode, I talk about: • Why so many of us feel overwhelmed even when we're doing our best • The hidden cost of making the same decisions over and over again • How a simple system can reduce stress and create more peace • Why motivation isn't the answer to recurring problems • The connection between systems, energy, and mental load • Areas of life that may be asking for more structure right now • Questions to help you identify where a new system could make life easier If you've been feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or frustrated that life feels harder than it needs to, this episode is an invitation to stop carrying everything in your head and start creating systems that support the life you want to live. What Happens When You Finally Trust Your Intuition?

268- In this episode, I’m sharing a vulnerable story about a situation I knew deep down I should have left sooner. The signs were there. The tension was there. My intuition kept whispering to me that something wasn’t aligned… but I stayed longer than I should have because part of me was still trying to make it work, justify it, or settle for what was in front of me. And honestly? I think so many of us do this. We ignore the quiet nudges. We talk ourselves out of what we know. We convince ourselves that asking for more is unrealistic, selfish, or too risky. But what I’ve realized is this: when you finally trust your intuition and believe that more is possible for your life, relationships, career, peace, energy, or future… you start making decisions differently. And that’s when new possibilities begin to open. In this episode, I talk about: The signs I saw but ignored Why we often stay in misaligned situations longer than we should How fear, comfort, and scarcity can cloud intuition What happened when I finally listened to myself Why believing for “more” changes what you allow, pursue, and create The peace and alignment that come from trusting yourself again If you’ve been feeling a quiet nudge that something in your life needs to change, this episode is your reminder that your intuition is there for a reason. Sometimes the life you actually want starts the moment you stop settling for what you don't want. Connect with Ang: Instagram: @angbarnard Website: angbarnard.com Email: angmbarnard@gmail.com
